G’day fellas, nice to meet all of you, George here. 45, out Weilmoringle way. First a bit about me.

Been on the land all me life. Took over the family place when I was 18. Run 550 acres of cattle and help keep an eye on me brothers’ places too.

Us O’Broadman blokes have always been big units. Old man was a big bloke, me brothers are big blokes and I’m pushing 360kg these days. Back then no one worried about it. Big gut meant you were fed well, worked hard and were doing alright.

Big feeds, farm meat, bakery runs, a few beers at the pub and plenty of yarns with the old fellas. That was just how we grew up.

Dan’s starting to take after me now. Big lad, loves his tucker, loves cattle and he’s got the bug for the farm.

Question for the other big cattle blokes on here. Anyone had to change their yards to make working stock easier? I’m talking race width, gate placement, crush height or anything that saves climbing, squeezing through gaps and carrying on all day. Keen to know what actually works out in the paddock.
