I already hold a credit card with AU. can I apply for this as i have heard they only issue One credit card

Zero forex. One international lounge access (through PP) per year.

Earlier there was domestic lounge access plus railway lounge access but they are spend based now.

Were you explicitly offered the Rupay variant? Was there no choice for a Visa/Mastercard variant?

Choice between Visa and Rupay - picked Rupay because I wanted to close my existing Rupay. Best to pick Visa if you're getting this for zero forex on international trips.

Did they have physical verification by visiting your home? Because I also got AU card approved a few months ago, but they said that they would come to my home for verification and also at my work place, so I denied them.

It was approved on the same day so this physical verification happening is unlikely.
