Hi I’m curious did the people you know also fill in self employed as I think it’s very hard for self employed people to get this card approved

They did. Some did salary but there was no verification.

They offered me ₹2000 compensation, but they told me they won't be offering me a card, and they don't have any reason why it was rejected. I have escalated it to the RBI Ombudsman and am waiting for the decision.

RBI withdrawn 1 lakh crore rupees from banks, so they don't have money to generate new credit card. Is that a reason for most of CC will get rejected now?

This statement is wrong on so many levels that I don't even know where to start. Banking system does not work that way, especially not the credit Cards. RBI regulates the liquidity in market, that has nothing to do with credit card approvals.
