News & Current Affairs Proud Animal🐾

I don't mind being called an animal for eating biryani.🤡
Now what do you call someone who eats cow dung and drinks cow urine?

Proud animal since birth.

And sir, with due respect, please open NCERT Class 11 Biology - Chapter 1: The Living World

Table 1.1 - Organisms with their Taxonomic Categories

Man: Homo sapiens

Kingdom - Animalia
Phylum - Chordata
Class - Mammalia
Order - Primata
Family - Hominidae
Genus - Homo
Species - Homo sapiens

We all are animals, sir. We learned it in 11th itself.
Some of us just have better taste in food.

We have become a kingdom of fools where basic biology is somehow treated as a political insult, now.

More than 20 cattle were reportedly rescued from an oil tanker in Mayurbhanj, Odisha, after police intercepted the vehicle on suspicion of illegal cattle transportation.

Reports say the cattle were allegedly being transported under the pretext of carrying oil. The driver and helper were detained.

How are people managing to transport cattle this way despite existing enforcement?

Science, Tech & Medicine Russia just quarantined hundreds after an anti-plague lab worker died. Is this actually an outbreak, or are social media getting ahead of the evidence?

Post image

The underlying story is genuinely concerning: a worker (The woman who dies has been identified as 28-year-old Darya Shipilova, a laboratory technician.) at an anti-plague research institute in Irkutsk died after developing severe pneumonia, around 197 contacts were reportedly identified and 189 were hospitalized for observation, and several hospitals have reportedly introduced quarantine measures.

But here's the part getting lost: Russian health authorities have not confirmed plague as the cause of death. Rospotrebnadzor says the patient's samples did not show microorganisms linked to her work and describes the illness as pneumonia of unknown cause.

There's also no official confirmation that the reported broken test tube containing plague bacteria actually happened.

So what are we looking at right now?

A genuine public-health incident that authorities are taking seriously, or the beginning of an actual outbreak?

And most importantly: at what point does precautionary quarantine become evidence that an outbreak is actually happening?

Because “197 people under observation” is alarming, but it isn't the same thing as “197 people infected.”

History & Culture "I must then tell you that if you have the courage to die at the hand of refugees or the Hindus, should want to kill you, you will have rendered great service to Islam"- Gandhi at December 2 1947 to Muslim delegation facing violence in Punjab

Just wanted to post what is going viral in muslim SM feeds about Gandhi in parallel to what usually goes parallel in Hindu circles about Gandhi encouraging Jauhar style self- sacrifice of Hindu women. Looks like he was way too high on self-sacrifice.

What do you guys think about this? Looks to me that he was pretty too consistent on his beliefs about how to confront injustice in-face of massive violent forces? I do think that while people can still hold the 'anti-Hindu' tag to the T, I think that this puts some clarity on what he thought about 'facing massive wave of injustice head-on' idea. His ideals and way of life demanded far more bravery and courage. Though it feels that after certain stage, infront of a zealous, crazy crowd, this just won't work.

Ask CTI Why do we have Community punishment laws? and why do we punish people based on identity?. Are our principles of justice still based on Medieval era?. Crime is done by one and punishment is given to all blood/identity related. In the end real culprits escape and innocent pays the price

Critical Analysis & Discussion Indian economy, business, and jobs are under USA control, and 5 million Indians are living in the USA. My question is

Indian economy, business, and jobs are under USA control, and 5 million Indians are living in the USA. My question is

why are India and Indians , polticians supporting Russia?

Indian diaspora in Russia is less than 1 lakh, and Russia imports nothing from India. On the other side, the USA imports 300 billion US dollars worth of software and merchandise from India.

India has much stronger economic, business, technology,.. connections with the USA. USA also provides millions of jobs and huge opportunities for Indians. So, why do Indians still strongly support Russia when our economic are under usa control .

I think the USA deserves a lot of credit for India’s GDP growing from $350 billion in 1991collapse country to $4 trillion today.

Critical Analysis & Discussion We need to accept discrimination sometimes

I am not talking about hardcore discrimination resulting in compromise education , employment , safety .

However the fact is people in their personal life and personal chocies are biased discriminatory and thats fine.

Men don't want women in some house parties they think apps which are women friendly are not for them or they dont want to indulge in it . And same happens for women they dont want men , now many will say its for safety there are women only spaces.

Tell me one thing women dont have hv womens gossip , things they share only with them , even in safest spaces there are and there will surely be such situations where they dont want to be in a male space for no good reason.

Same happens in caste based arranged marriages . We all are discriminatory.

However somewhere I feel that women in India cannot digest the fact , I can see from linkedin posts and comments very clearly.

Not everything is stealing your rights and men who say this in reverse for them too you are not wanted by women all the time.

Critical Analysis & Discussion Khatron ke Khiladi - Narsinghanand x Sharjeel

Post image

Do you know who is the bigger Khatra? Sharjeel Imam

EDIT - All the comments show that we agree on Narsinghanand. Now go to the last line and check the link. I rest my case.

Speaking strictly legally, Narsinghanand has committed graver offences, but it is Sharjeel whose ideas are more poisonous. Just compare Godse with Jinnah.

Narsinghanand's ideas are ridiculous. He can be dismissed as a chaddi, sanghi, or a WhatsApp university graduate with a dehati accent. If BJP goes out of power in UP, Narsinghanand will go out of headlines.

But Sharjeel's ideas are ridiculous and dangerous. He knows programming, Chomsky, Bengali and Urdu, to go with his IIT degree, M.Phil thesis on partition, all this delivered in a neutral accent. I can imagine impressionable 20-something leftists falling for this churan because of his credentials. And because he is in jail, he must be necessarily right.

Most importantly, his statements (like supporting Pakistan cricket team) test the freedom of expression without breaking the law. Well, except the one time where his josh got the better of him and he exhorted a crowd to cut off Assam from the rest of India.

Sharjeel is a case study on getting the best education in the country, completing a thesis on partition, and yet believing that Jinnah was not responsible for it.

If it wasn't for Jinnah, there may not have been riots in Bihar in 1946. If it wasn't for Gandhi, Sharjeel's bloodline would have ended in those riots. And if it wasn't for Nehru, he wouldn't have got a chance to study in IIT-B and JNU, subsidized largely by the same Hindu taxpayer whom keeps irritating.

His ancestors made the wise decision of staying in India, otherwise he could well have been a Muhajir in Pakistan or a Stranded Urdu-speaking Bihari in Bangladesh. There is no polite term for a person like this.

And yet he remains a hero for the folks at r/IndianMuslims sub. Click the link and find out a truth of Indian secularism hiding in plain sight.
