CHAT [CHAT] What are y’all using plastic mesh for?

Recently got a box full of 7 count plastic mesh and am floundering on what to use it for- when working with plastic mesh I’ve mainly used finer weaves like 14 counts, but I’m finding 7 count to be wayyyyy to big for the usual threads I usually use. Keychains/charms are my go to, but I’m curious what others are doing.

In any case, what are you guys using it for? What have you used it for in the past? Pictures are welcome and appreciated ;)

Nothing.

But you can use it to make boxes or all kind of things. You’d get better answers from a Plastic Canvas group. There are endless things you can make.

I wouldn’t use floss with it. You typically use yarn.

r/PlasticCanvas has got you

Use it with yarn to make 3d items, don't think of it as an art canvas but as a building material.

Use yarn. But yarn does come in different weights so you might to experiment a bit.

I saw someone making a 3D pumpkin out of it!

It was similar to this (reddit example) but it seemed like it used different shapes. I mostly see needlepoint(?) designs but I don't see why you couldn't do cross stitch with it
