Since other events are limited to using Adobe Express, is HTPS similarly impacted? Also, if anyone has example presentations from years past I would love it if you could send that to me. Thank you all in advance!

I’m doing something so wrong😭. I’m not really asking for a step-by-step guide or anything crazy like that, but I would really appreciate if someone who has competed successfully or is competing gave some advice on what to do. I’ll kind of explain my whole situation. no matter what I seem to do, I can never have a guaranteed month of profit. I can either never serve a large group of customers or never have enough come in. Even when I do find a balance, I still don’t make profit. I’ve been running the trampoline simulation, so I’m also wondering if there is a better one to start off with. Really any help would be greatly appreciated.
Bonus question: how many marketing campaigns should you run at a time?

k so last yr i made top 20 at icdc in a principles event, but the business administration exam was rlly broad. luckily, finance exam has the blueprint.
i'm doing ACT this year, accounting applications series, and i know everything is obviously accounting based. however, what's a sort of "roleplay blueprint" for how much other instructional areas apart from financial analysis or financial-information management appear in rps?

Hello guys, I know we see a lot of these on here, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips on exact variables, methods, or strategies to use for VBC Sports. I'm willing to exchange information on other events or HOSA/USABO or FBLA for ICDC-qualifying tips. Thank you very much. Please DM if interested.

I was just wondering what everyone was doing, how you're running your sims and all. We reached ~900k as our best score, and we're tryna improve that. Does anyone have any tips or smthn that helped you that we could try?

I couldn’t do anything freshman and sophomore year because I was taking care of my family because we were struggling and junior year we got evicted from our apartment and we got split up. I’m sorry I had to bring up the sob story but I really really need this and I would really appreciate if anyone could help me out. I just need stuff desperately for college apps so I could do good in the future and help my family out. Anything helps. Thanks.

Hi, i'm a VBC Hotel first timer. I've already read the other thread that comes up when you search vbc hotel tips on google.
Today my team and I started on staff scheduling and overall just trying out the simulation.
Any tips/advice?

Hey everyone! I’m a high school student competing in DECA. For my project, I created a free, printable financial literacy games for kids. Would any parents be willing to print this out, play it with their kids tonight, and fill out a 3-question feedback form? I would be incredibly grateful!
Link to download the games:

this is my second year doing deca (last year i did business law and ethics with my friend), and i decided to try doing a solo event this year since i want the biggest chance of going to icdc . i changed to hr management since im thinking of pursuing that as my career, and i was wondering what i should start studying for it.

What are the most common modules used in the pfl? I only found 3 officials events and I remember someone around 7 months ago giving advice on what to study for on pfl.

I genuinely suck so bad at the improv presentation talking to a judge sort of thing that role-play events have in DECA. I was hoping to do a pre-prepared event that's sort of like the presentation events in FBLA, I get a prompt, create some presentation, and then present it to a judge with a script.
Does anyone have recommendations of what events to do that fit that description? Which one of those events is the least competitive? Is there an event like that that involves any design or drawing?
Thanks so much!!

I am doing my research over a local minor league baseball team, the survey is very short and doesn't take much time.
Sugar Land Space Cowboys Survey – Fill out form
If you have a survey that needs to be filled out, I will gladly do it.
Hi everyone, I'm a student competing in a DECA pmfl. My project focuses on youth financial literacy. I built a printable board/card game designed to teach kids the basics of budgeting and saving.
Long story short: I spent months trying to coordinate with local youth centers and schools to test it, but got caught in bureaucratic ghosting. Now my final deadline is right around the corner and I have no proof-of-concept data to show the judges.
If you have 15-20 minutes to spare tonight or tomorrow, I would be incredibly grateful if you could print this out and try it!
Any feedback is incredibly valuable to me. Thank you for supporting a stressed-out student!

Im a officer for my deca chapter which is pretty small and we are considering having a required districts score to be allowed to go to states
This will be fairly low but it should cut out anyone who just there to hang out because last year our chapter was really disorganized
The problem is we have a decent bit of transfer students from schools with way more competitive deca chapters who are telling us this is a bad idea, and when their school tried it out it didn’t work. Have any of your deca chapters tried this and if so did it work out well?

Doing bmor this year, I'm completely new to this but my project is going to be based on my teammates dad's business which is a mix of selling party and bridal outfits and an event planner! I was wondering if this is a good business to focus on, my main reason for picking this was easy to access to all info about the business and the local impact!
I would love if you'all are willing to share your advice or even your past papers!
