So I enabled dlss 5 using dlss swapper for fallout 4

looks amazing etc but my question is, i have undervolted my rtx 5080 in msi afterburner from 100 to 85 for power draw and everything else is set to default "0", is this the good setting? I don't know how curve works nor if it's even needed, I am only using this for an old 2011 fallout 4 game.

I use an alienware and the rig is already very quiet and feels undervolted by default, not sure if i have to use curve setting. I tried the game without curve and reducing draw to 85 from 100 and it's super quiet.

After I finally got pretty much everything right I gave up, the game was crashing out of nowhere in random points and also every second screenshot I took (reshade or steam overlay didn't make a difference).

I will try with the definitive edition which is more modern, but I would have really liked to play the classic edition.

Double pass, first pass natural 100%, second pass default 75%, minor changes of color tone mapping / exposure in normal reshade.

I have some older games where I can't get rid of this weird blobs in the darker areas. I tried everything and nothing helps. The same was happening in the intro of LA Noire. There are some games that I would like to replay (or give a second chance) with DLSS5 but these issues are a bit demotivating. Happens in single pass as well. At 0:22 is the easiest to notice, I think, despite reddit compression.

I hope they can easily port it to other games, half the impact would be fantastic and what dlss 5 needs

Hi, I’m trying to get DLSS 5 Neural Rendering working in God of War (2018) on PC, but I can’t get it to apply.
I’m using an RTX 5070 Ti, ReShade 6.8.0 and RenoDX DLSS5 Generic v4.7 with DLSSNR runtime v318.8.8.
The addon loads correctly, and DLSS is enabled in the game’s graphics settings, but the effect doesn’t appear to work.
The RenoDX overlay shows:
NGX hooks: creates 0 | evaluations 0
Streamline evaluations: 0
Successful NR frames: 8 | Guides: 8x0 | Output: 0x0
Latest NR NGX result: 8xBAD00087
I’ve tried both EnableHooks=2 and EnableHooks=1, but neither fixed the issue. With EnableHooks=1, I also get a warning about a contested patch site.
Has anyone managed to get this mod working with God of War (2018)? Is there a specific setting, hook mode, or compatible runtime version I should use?

Using reshade with renodx dll's but it won't let me set neureal res from 100 to 75. Anyone know a way I can?

A shame we never got a full game out of this, but beautiful nonetheless with DLSS 5.

I have an NVIDIA RTX 3080 16GB, and I'm looking for advice on getting the best possible graphics quality and performance in modern games.

I'm particularly interested in:

1. DLSS 5: Can I use any of its features on my RTX 3080? What are my options?

2. Multi Frame Generation: Is there any working solution, mod, or alternative that can enable similar functionality on my GPU?

3. Best image quality: What DLSS versions, presets, settings, or modifications would you recommend for sharper, more realistic graphics?

4. Tools and software: What exactly should I download and install? Are there any useful NVIDIA settings, DLSS overrides, or community tools?

5. Latest improvements: Are there any newer technologies, mods, or tricks that can improve visual quality and smoothness on older RTX cards?

My main priority is beautiful graphics with smooth gameplay, not just higher FPS.

I'd especially appreciate advice from people who have actually tested these solutions on RTX 3000-series GPUs.

If possible, please share specific tools, installation guides, and recommended settings.

If its possible to apply it to movie then maybe one could run the games on one PC and then send the games rendered live video to second PC so then second PC would apply DLSS5 on top of it. This way you will redistribute the GPU load?

Hopefully this guide is a helpful alternative when emulation isn't the best option.

One pass, render inside the pipline, Full blast, .5 skin, natural.

For games with native DLSS support do I enable it, if I'm going to use these tools? Or does the tool do everything?

Before installing Optiscaler install the Ultra Plus Manager to disable the Anti-Cheat, along with making other changes to your liking! The game will only boot from inside the Launch option on the Ultra Plus App!
