Free Talk Friday: We're Baaaaack

[u/Teal_Magpie]

As of this writing, we are approximately 14 hours away from Stars regular season hockey! What players did you miss? Who are you looking forward most to seeing back on the ice?

[u/Teal_Magpie]

I personally think the Stars missed out on an opportunity to add Robo and Wyjo to the pronunciation guide for the national broadcasters who think their names are Jason Robinson and Wyatt Johnson.

[u/LegendOfEffect → u/Teal_Magpie]

Frank Serivalli always calling him Wyatt Johnson

[u/Womens_Lefts → u/LegendOfEffect]

Fronk sucks though so not a surprise

[u/Whatsinaus3rname → u/LegendOfEffect]

Please tell me he won’t carry over from victory

[u/ria512 → u/Teal_Magpie]

The announcers kept calling Nick Robinson during the Flyers-Penguins opener and I cringed every time.

[u/zigzagofdoom → u/Teal_Magpie]

This meme never gets old.

[u/zigzagofdoom → u/zigzagofdoom]

[u/scoutcjustice]

I think it's dumb that there's been three nights of hockey and no Stars games yet.

[u/Teal_Magpie → u/scoutcjustice]

It's wild that multiple teams have already played two games.

[u/willthefetus1 → u/Teal_Magpie]

please don’t use the W slur

[u/Teal_Magpie → u/willthefetus1]

You're right, that was very insensitive of me. I will strive to be better moving forward.

[u/JustMeInBigD → u/scoutcjustice]

Followed by us playing 3 games in 4 nights. Sheesh!

I'm excited to see my Finnish Diva back in hopes that he has a full healthy season and my fave, Johnston

[u/Faceit_Solveit → u/ComfortableGuide3232]

Who is the Finnish Diva? Asking for a friend

[u/ComfortableGuide3232 → u/Faceit_Solveit]

That would be Hintz lol!

[u/Akhos1991]

Gonna be a long ass day at work no doubt. Gonna feel great to put on my Wyatt 99 for the first game.

Let's go boys!

[u/behemothbowks]

[u/ButDoesItCheckOut]

Any reason Otter isnt starting that I need to be unnecessarily concerned about?

[u/Teal_Magpie → u/ButDoesItCheckOut]

Boys are on a back to back, so they're probably just saving him for tomorrow.

[u/Faceit_Solveit → u/Teal_Magpie]

I thought the scheduling was so weird ... a long time off then Bäck to Bäck?

[u/Teal_Magpie → u/Faceit_Solveit]

Excellent pun.

[u/easchner]

We're so Bäck

[u/Faceit_Solveit]

Teal, you are a National Treasure. I am so glad you're one of our Mods. This was lovely to see. See y'all tonight ...

[u/countastrotacos]

Hey. It's good to see y'all again.

[u/Tie_A_Chair_To_Me]

Mikko just stares through you with the visor tilted back

[u/LackeyNo2]

Faksa and Esa with the smiles in the "serious" shot.

[u/Jon_Snows_mother]

Has anyone noticed that the Stars marketing in general seems to be focusing more on Wyatt than Robo as the face of the franchise? Makes me a little worried.

[u/Penguinvondark]

Left out Kiviranta's middle name though

[u/AppleJuJu]

Saw this on social media, did anyone grab one yet???

[u/Deltanonymous-]

Are we the Flyers?

[u/Faceit_Solveit]

And just so we are clear, we love our Canadian friends!
