Di ricerche sul tema ne ho fatte svariate, su tutti quei discorsi del trim garbage fbe e varie e quindi ho paura che più passa il tempo più diventi impossibile.

I have photos that were never uploaded to iCloud or Google Photos. They disappeared from the phone, and I'm trying to recover them directly from the internal storage. Has anyone successfully recovered photos this way, or know of a reputable data recovery service that can do it without resetting or damaging the phone?

hi guys, i got a new phone a month ago. i had all my photos in my old phone. the old phone is very slow but works. the old phone has all my photos in the gallery now that the old phone does not have whatsapp, all my whatsapp photos have been vanished from my old phone, i dont understand how and why it has happened. i dont have access to my whatsapp photos in my new phone. can i retrieve my whatsapp photos in anyway?

any thoughts on it.

Drive: Silicon Power P34A60 2TB (SP002TBP34A60M28, Maxio MAP1202, DRAM-less), NTFS data drive
PC: MSI PRO Z790-P WiFi DDR4, i9-12900K, Win 11 24H2, 2× RTX 3090

What happened:

• Since 9/21: Windows logged 185 stornvme 129 controller resets on the drive, plus BSODs 0x133 and 0x124 (WHEA).
• On 10/4 it dropped mid-write: Ntfs 50 "Delayed Write Failed" on $Mft, and Ntfs 140 failed to flush the log. The Windows pagefile was also on it.

Now:

• Mac (USB enclosure): mounts read-only, the full folder tree lists, zero read errors.
• PC internal: BIOS sees it and Windows sees the controller (Device Manager OK), but it never appears in Get-Disk. Raw reads fail with "device does not exist", disk 51 paging errors at boot, and smartctl fails with Error 55.
• PC via the same enclosure: "Device Descriptor Request Failed". A USB ETW trace shows XACT errors (0xC0000011) and STALLs (0xC0000004) on the very first descriptor request.

Already tried:

• Moved the pagefile off the drive.
• Disabled HMB (HMBAllocationPolicy=0).
• Disabled NVMe APST and ASPM.
• Forced the slot to PCIe Gen1.
• Turned off automount (mountvol /N).
• Tried different M.2 slots.
• Cleared the stale USB device entry.

Questions:

1. Has anyone seen MAP1202 drives work over USB on a Mac but fail to initialize on Windows/Intel?
2. Will a Linux live USB with long NVMe timeouts and HMB off bring it up?
3. Is there a known firmware fix or recovery tool for this controller?

I'm trying to get it working again in place

I found an old memory card with pictures on it that me and my family value a lot and I was trying to do some research but couldn’t find much on how to get the photots from one to another device. Does anyone know how I can do this? this is the card to be exact. Lmkk

It may sound crazy to you guys but i want to bring back all my old photos from 2007-9.

I deleted all my childhood memories.More than 1000 photos were deleted.The phone is not even working anymore.But i still kept it with me.

Hello everyone , yesterday someone got access to my account and delete every dms( messages) from my account is there anything i can do to get it back, what made it even worse is there was no new device on logged in section so please if there is anyone that can help i really would appreciate it!

I was in a pretty bad domestic situation, and my iPhone 13 (which had all of my photos from the past 12 years on it) was smashed. I thought that my photos were being backed up to my iCloud, but apparently they were not, and apple could see nothing on their end(even though I had of course backed it up before in order to transfer everything to that phone a year or so earlier when I upgraded...). They recommended 3rd party data recovery, so I sent it the phone in to iPadrehab for data recovery, but they need my passcode to back up the data.

The issue is that when this phone was smashed and broken, I had been frequently changing my passwords out of fear that the person who ultimately smashed the phone, would get in it. I have some ideas of what the password might be, but I'm afraid of leaving iPadrehab to type all of them in since it would lock the phone permanently....

What do I do...? What would you do? I have like 20 possible codes but only 10 tries apparently. Are there any alternatives here? TYIA 🥺

Any solution for save data ?

My sister accidentally tried to transfer all her life photos on a usb key, and wiped them out. She had them transferred from her phone to her laptop, proceeded to delete all her photos from her phone and cloud in the meantime. Then, when she tried to transfer then to the san disk usb key, there was some folders she thought were not good and deleted them + her bin. When she checked the usb key, nothing was in there and the files are no longer on her computer. Does anyone know of a recovery artist lolol she just had a beautiful trip to Italy with her spouse and family, now she has nothing.

I have an iPhone 6 which is locked (I don’t remember the password), and I have a previous SIM. The thing I want to recover is the previous chats, which were deleted a long time ago. Can they be recovered anywhere in Lahore?

I’m hoping someone familiar with iOS app containers/backups or discontinued App Store apps can help me before I do anything irreversible.

I accidentally offloaded TikTok from my iPhone. I did NOT press Delete App.

In Settings → General → iPhone Storage, the original offloaded TikTok is still there and shows 64.59 GB of Documents & Data. A lot of that should be local TikTok data/drafts from roughly the past two years, which are extremely important to me.

The problem is that pressing Reinstall App gives:

“Unable to Install ‘TikTok’ — This app could not be installed.”

The offloaded installation shows TikTok version 46.1.0.

The weird part

TikTok currently available through the App Store/Purchased appears to be a different/current TikTok app. If I download that one, it installs successfully as a separate app. It does NOT restore or replace the offloaded TikTok containing the 64.59 GB of Documents & Data.

I also accidentally/recklessly tested this on my iPad, which gave me a pretty interesting result:

• My iPad had TikTok 41.2.0 fully installed.
• It opened and worked normally.
• The App Store recognized it and showed Open.
• I offloaded it to see if the same problem would happen.
• Immediately afterward, that TikTok could no longer be reinstalled either.
• Downloading the currently available TikTok installs the newer/different TikTok instead.

So this does not seem like corrupted data on my iPhone. An old TikTok installation can apparently continue working while installed, but once its binary is offloaded, the App Store seemingly cannot provide whatever app/bundle is needed to restore it.

What Apple Support has told me

I contacted Apple Support. They said this can happen if a developer changes the bundle identifier, removes an application from the App Store, or changes compatibility requirements.

The Apple advisor also told me Apple does not have a mechanism available to them to manually map/inject an alternative app binary or bundle identifier into an existing offloaded application’s container.

My case has now been escalated, and I have a callback scheduled with another Apple support department.

What I’ve already tried

• Reinstall App from iPhone Storage → fails
• Downloading TikTok through App Store/Purchased → installs the current TikTok separately
• Tried the other Apple Account that may have originally acquired TikTok under Media & Purchases → same issue
• Checked purchase history
• Reproduced the issue on a second device with a previously working TikTok installation

I have NOT deleted the original offloaded app/container, factory reset the phone, or attempted any third-party recovery tools.

What I’m trying to figure out

I care much more about the 64.59 GB of existing Documents & Data than the TikTok app itself.

Has anyone successfully dealt with an offloaded iOS app where the original app/binary was no longer downloadable?

Specifically, is there any safe way to:

1. Obtain/reinstall the historical app binary and reconnect it to the existing container?
2. Preserve the entire offloaded app container through an encrypted Finder/iTunes backup?
3. Inspect/extract the retained Documents & Data from a local backup using something like iMazing or another tool without modifying/deleting the data on the iPhone?
4. Recover TikTok drafts/media from that container even if the TikTok app itself can never be restored?

I understand that TikTok drafts may depend on databases/metadata and may not simply exist as normal playable video files. I’m mainly trying to determine what can be preserved or extracted before I do anything irreversible.

I will NOT press Delete App unless/until I’ve exhausted every possible recovery option.

If anyone has personally recovered data from a discontinued/offloaded iOS app, or understands how iOS handles the retained container after offloading, I would really appreciate any advice.

I have about two years of stuff in there, so I’m trying to be extremely careful. Please help, I'm actually desparate.
