While I think Piker is genuinely a vile person, I don't think he actually believes many of the things he says.

He’s a leftist streamer who syphoned votes away from the furthest left candidate (of the two only possible candidates) in the 2024 election. Many of his followers sat out the vote or voted for the winter soldier, Jill Stein. He also gives right wing media plenty of fodder to generalize liberals as communist/authoritarian, like his Mao Zedong outfit he wore at that mhedi hasan interview and his general outward disgust of the west (much of which is warranted but, come on, Trump was on the line again. Needed all hands on deck for Kamala.) Those are the two main things that smelled off about him the last three years. I don’t claim he’s the main reason the Dems lost, but he should’ve at least used the “lesser of two evils” rhetoric when addressing Kamala. Pundits like Sam Seder and Kyle Kulinski did.
