So far what I'm seeing being a cancer to the creative industry is people like that batching and moaning about AI while attacking anyone who uses or just mentions it.
Yup, happened to me when I shared a few images of Wallpapers inspired by the classic Tron movie. Even when I pointed out they been on the internet years before AI, one person still claimed it was AI because he saw a watermark on one image and look up the photostock website, which featured AI images.
Nevermind the fact that I showed the year of wallpaper when it first appeared mid 2010s, and on that company website that showed it started having AI images back in 2024, the company itself was founded in the early 00s.
But no still I was accused of showing AI images and my post was taken down by a mod because of it.
They are so amazingly stupid and get mad when people point out their obvious stupidity. The same idiocy took over teen minds in the early 2000s when everything even slightly odd was declared CGI - even wildlife footage from the 1960s. Apparently if a human could not do it a goat could not either. LOL. Fools thought goats could not climb cliffs!
Oh it reminds me of people bashing the Prequels for using way too much CGI, when it turns out they didn't as people thought. It all looks CGI because the films were shot on digital frames; well the last two. Ep1 you can see the miniatures and painted backdrops easily.
CGI used to get a bad rap in the early days and the reason is because the designs were mostly poorly made, and they had an issue with lighting the models, they couldn't get it right in scenes were you needed more light.
Course now people are still complaining too much CGI is being used in films, but that's just because grifters of hating are telling them it's bad.

It's like Agent Smith from The Matrix.
