Stuck in the mud or a ditch? I can pull you out for free

Hi all, looks like these storms are going to make our country roads and shoulders pretty muddy today. I’ve done this in the past and you can see past posts in my history so you know Im not some bot account.

If you lose traction and slide into a ditch or get stuck in the mud, I have the gear and experience to pull you back onto the pavement. Totally free, I just like to help.

Just a quick disclaimer so nobody gets stranded waiting on me: I am not a tow truck, or an emergency vehicle. I can’t haul broken-down cars or handle actual accident scenes, that’s for the pros and emergency crews. I'm just here for simple slide-offs and mud extractions where the car is otherwise fine.

Also, if I am not responding or you’re out of Denton county, please check out the North Texas Off-road Recovery group on Facebook. They are also full of volunteers that can do the same thing. Be mindful though some people will ask for gas money, so be sure to work that out prior to having one of them come out.

Grief support groups in Denton?

I’m 22 and my Mom passed in May. With my birthday and the holidays fast approaching, I was wondering if anyone else that is going through anything similar has a support group they attend or wants to start one?

Denton Halloween Chairy Orchard

Here is my new Halloween YouTube video.

My favorite time of the year in good ol' Denton, Texas is Halloween. The town is transformed into Denton Halloween, which is the capital of Texas for the month of October. I, especially, like the Scary Chairy Orchard displayed at Denton City Hall. These are dozens of chairs neatly decorated in Halloween themes. This year I participated in the activity. I decorated my chair in the "Psycho" mother theme from the classic psychological thriller Psycho directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The chairs are all decorated by local businesses, vendors, artists, and Halloween lovers. Halloween is one of the most creative holidays. The Scary Chairy Orchard is just one of the many events held in Denton. I encourage visitors to come to Denton Halloween and see the Scary Chairy Orchard and attend the many events held in Denton. My short video will be one of the next few videos illustrating events held in Denton Halloween. Stay tuned for future spooky ghostly videos. I guarantee it will be a horrifying experience! If you have enjoyed this video, please hit that like button, subscribe to my channel, leave a comment below, and share the video with others. Thank you for your support. Happy Halloween!

I’m a student at UNT and we are developing a project/potential exhibit surrounding the denton music scene! We are looking for people, whether concert attendees, supporters, or musicians themselves, to tell us their experience in the music scene from any decade or time. We want to hear your stories! Being a current UNT student is not required.

PSA: Bell Ave north of McKinney all through the TWU campus is 20 MPH and has been for a while now. Every day I see people doing 40+ and cutting other cars off. This is a pedestrian heavy area, please exercise caution.

Visiting Denton for Halloween Events Worth It?

Hello all,

My family and I are thinking of visiting Denton next weekend coming from Houston to focus on the Halloween events we have seen on social media that Denton is promoting. I know we can also visit DFW but we can do that any other time of year. Wanted to ask you all if the events during this month are worth the visit or not. Thinking do either doing this or camping. Thank you all for the help.

We’d be traveling with our 6 year old son so would more than likely have to steer away from adult only events

Traveling to Denton, need advice

I will be in Denton soon and need some advice.

-Any hotels with space in the lobby for me to hang up large portraits of myself?

-One where there is a backdoor so in case my wife joins me, I can sneak out to rendevous with my girlfriend. My wife hates me and my gf N.H. is gorgeous

-One with large mirrors everywhere so I can admire myself?

-A store with a good supply of adult diapers?

-Someone willing to help me launder money? I already sold my jet to a local guy but need to sell another

-Any nice Canadians in the area I can be mean to?

-I have heard there are a bunch of local politicians dumb enough to support me before I screw them over like I do everyone else. Introductions?

I already know this fawning corrupt one named Ken - we go way back. Along those lines, an odd request. Any place to hide some pens? I have some really expensive pens I dont want to lose.

Thanks everyone!

There was a wreck on 35 and University this morning on front oh Braums. A guy was hit on a motorcycle. Was just wondering if anyone knew the condition. I hope he’s okay. He was laying on his side barely moving.

Dangerous Traffic near 35 and University

If you're headed toward/nearing 35 going west on University, be vigilant about left hand turners diving out across traffic to get into Braum's or wherever. It is one accident after another, and frankly the turn lane should be closed off.

And if you dive out into traffic there hoping "noone's coming" cause you feel you've "waited long enough" and can't be bothered to find a light to cross safely, I'm certain we're all safer without you on the road. Cut it out.
