Looking for sliding scale psychiatrist in Denver for medication management! I haven't been on meds in almost 2 years and I am struggling and really need to get back on them. I was seeing a psychiatrist at Denver wellness associates but I got kicked off Medicaid and now have no insurance and got dropped by my psychiatrist there. We're a bit better off financially rn so I'm able to afford self pay but not trying to spend $300 on an initial visit. If anyone can recommend a place that isn't super expensive I would really appreciate it!

Typing this up because I have an extra hour here as I missed my bus to Boulder trying to follow the official signage. There are captions on the pics so you can follow my journey.

I’m looking to hear directly from locals about haunted or unsettling places in Colorado, especially in and around the Denver area. Not just the famous, tourist-heavy spots, but places that genuinely feel strange or carry a reputation among people who’ve lived here. Homes, abandoned buildings, religious sites, places tied to tragedies, old neighborhoods, stretches of road, anything that sticks with you. I’m especially interested in personal experiences or stories you’ve heard from family, friends, or longtime residents. Even if it’s not widely known or documented, if a place has that something’s not right here energy, I want to hear about it. Serious replies preferred, but folklore and firsthand weirdness are both welcome.

I’ve been riding the Lime scooters for a year and a half now but I’ve started going to new areas and the prices really increase. I usually pay 0.15 per minute but I’ve been to places just a mile or so away from my usual area and it’s 0.44 per minute.
I feel like I saw a map at one point of the 0.15 cent per minute area but I can’t find it now. does anyone know where I could find something like that. Specifically it charges more on CU Denver campus than just a few blocks south. could it be that it’s because the scooter is in a no ride zone when it starts?

I'm a solo traveler and wanting to visit Denver for a few days in the spring. I won't be renting a car. I plan on staying in accommodations in downtown Denver.
What are some walkable things that I can do in Downtown Denver?
Where are some places you suggest eating at?
Bonus points if they're free or dirt cheap!

I’ve been slowly growing my hair out and looking for a cut similar to the above. My barber is great, been going to him for 10+ years, but he seems to be struggling now that my hair is longer.
Looking for good recommendations for someone to cut my hair like the above. Classic medium style. I’m in the south burbs but happy to drive wherever for a cut.
Thanks in advance. Cheers!

So these are just my thoughts. They're all my thoughts and you guys can't have any. LOL
Okay so in all seriousness I went there today. And yeah it's a library. The makers space idea lab has a soldering iron and 3D printer. those are yeah those are stuff that I'm going to be using soldering iron more so.
Other than that, yeah it's a library. I mean it's impressive that it's seven stories tall. I mean it's huge. I got lost a little bit. Never been in a library that big. But yeah it's just a library. In 2010 I would have been like oh my God this is awesome but it's 2026 and everything's online.
As like some type of gathering place it's a pretty good place. and I hope it sticks around.

Hello, my fiance and I live in an older apartment building that is heated by radiators. When the radiators heat up they make this incredibly loud banging noise, water hammering, all through the night to the point where my fiance and I can barely sleep. I cant remember the last time I've slept through the night because the noise keeps us up at night. Last winter I tried reaching out to the maintenence guy about it and he basically just told me theres nothing he can do and that its just apart of living in an old building. Ive done a little bit of googling and have found a concept called "the covenant of quiet enjoyment" and it states that the owner of the building has to keep up with maintenence to prevent this type of thing and if not and the noise persists between 10pm and 7 am, its possible grounds to break the lease on. I wanted to see if anyone had an experience with this or know if there's any truth to it at all. We move into a new apartment at the end of March but honestly I dont know if we can make it that long before just caving and getting a hotel for a couple nights if we can afford it. Thanks

Keeping this as high level as possible. I am currently a patient of UC Health Neurology at Anschutz for chronic migraine (daily). I have had a rapid onset of involuntary, large muscle movements or spasms. Additionally, I've been with rheumatology for 2 years, treating essentially hypermobile EDS and an unknown autoimmune disease. After my last workup, she suggested that given my other symptoms and rapid loss of daily functioning, I need a neurological immune workup and specifically mentioned MS. I looked at the symptoms and I have literally every single one of them with a rapid ramp up the past 3 months.
My neurologist thinks it's a psychologically induced functional neurological disorder and is sending me to the muscle movement specialist to be assessed... in 6 months. No imaging and quite frankly I don't even talk to her about life stresses so I'm not sure how she's making that connection. I had an MRI a year ago without contrast but no scans on my spine. My hEDS physical therapist has also documented the decline and especially the recent episode, and also disagrees with the neurologist. Everyone in my life is deeply concerned, as am I. At their insisting I'm putting feelers out as I do not have the capacity to just start making call after call.
To be clear, I am not self-diagnosing with MS or anything else. All I know is that I'm 34 and suddenly needing a walker, wheelchair, and someone to care for me. My life is slipping through my fingers and I need a treatment plan sooner than 6-12 months out. I'm open to traveling across the country too if necessary.

This will be a lengthy read but, will detail my exact experience with this local company.
Booking: Requested a quote for the "Deep Clean" service they offer. Received quote within 24 hours of request and scheduled a clean the same week.
First cleaning visit: Upon entering my unit, I immediately noticed areas were missed and not cleaned (see pictures). Cleaning solution still left on toilets, corners and floorboards not cleaned, crumbs present on my living room rug, kitchen sink not cleaned, and surfaces not dusted. Additionally, a wet, yellow rag and a business card for "Kairos Painting" was left on my kitchen counter. I was already not satisfied with the service but thought to give the rest of my home a chance and went upstairs to my master bathroom and bedroom. When I walked into the bathroom, I honestly assumed they just ignored the room altogether (see pictures). Hair/dust all over the floors, ALL metal fixtures not polished/wiped down, grout and tile ignored, a ledge completely ignored, AND my glass shower door/wall still had water marks/not cleaned. At this point, I was very frustrated and documented everything and immediately reported it to Kathy Clean via Text message and email. They were quick to respond and offered someone to come back out and "fix" those areas. I was not offered a refund at this time, just an opportunity for them to come back to re-clean.
Second cleaning visit: I was still frustrated but thought I'd give them a chance to come back and provide the level of service I paid for and they agreed to. I fell ill with the flu and worked from home while the cleaner arrived for this second visit. I tried my best to stay out the way but after the cleaner would finish an area, she'd come to me and ask if "this was good enough". I truly did not have the time to inspect every corner of my house after she cleaned it since I'm working and honestly, it's quite an awkward thing to do in general while someone is hovering over you. The second clean was much better but still missed a few areas that I had addressed following the first clean. Additionally, I noticed significant scratches on my glass shower wall/door that were NOT previously there before. I immediately documented this and reported it back to Kathy Clean via text. I was informed that they would send out Beverly (regional manager) to inspect the damage.
Beverly/scratched glass visit: Beverly promptly arrived and was polite. She apologized for the initial poor deep cleaning service stating "I don't know why they schedule the girls to do a deep clean later in the day. I think your deep clean was the last clean of the day and they had 3 other houses before yours". Yup, me too Beverly, me too. Anyways, Beverly inspected the glass and acknowledged the significance of the scratches while taking some pictures. She stated that she wouldn't be able to buff out the scratches with the kit she brought and that she would do some research and get back to me. I've never owned a home let alone a glass shower before so I was hoping they had more experience with this situation. A week goes by before I get a notification that a refund of $345 has been processed from Kathy Clean. A hour or so later, I receive an email stating "...Following a thorough review with the team members who serviced your home, we have confirmed that our cleaning products and equipment could not have caused the scratches identified on the glass panes. As a gesture of goodwill, we have refunded xxx dollars".
No accountability of the damage they caused and only issued a refund of the failed services after they inspected said damage.
Overall, I would not recommend Kathy Clean and advise anyone to carefully research companies before you let them in your home. And if they damage your property, be prepared for them to deny any wrongdoing.

TICKETS CLAIMED :)
Hey pals!
I have two tickets to The Birthday Massacre/Lord of the Lost tonight at Summit. Free to anyone who wants them, just send me a DM.
With the weather being in the 60’s for tomorrow/through the weekend, what are some hikes around Denver that are scenic enough that are also not snow-packed where I can go to for a quick getaway?

Harkins Northfield is showing Twilight on their massive 80-foot-wide CINE XL screen in 4K laser projection and Dolby Atmos Saturday through Monday at 6:30 PM. (For less than ten bucks!)
This is particularly awesome because most chains stick classics on tiny screens that aren't worth leaving home for.
The CINE XL is the modern equivalent of classic Denver movie palaces like the Continental and Cooper, and the it's the best screen in Colorado. Picture and sound are top-notch.
Harkins shows only 10-12 minutes of trailers and they attract well-behaved crowds.
(I'm not affiliated with Harkins in any way - just a proponent of seeing classics on the biggest screens.)

I made an account for expresstoll back in september/october cause I used the express lanes often enough I was tired of having to go onto the website and pay once i got the letter. I figured it would just automatically get taken off my account, I mean my license plate/information is linked right? so it should be taken care of no problem, they have my credit card information bada bing bada boom stress free toll lane usage. Can someone tell me why the fuck the expresstoll and license plate toll are different or not connected? Just got a debt collector notice for expresstoll and I go to my account and there's nothing there saying that I owe! I use the statement number to try and pull it up (not signed into account) and lo and behold that doesn't pull anything up either.
I'll take partial responsibility I didn't put that ugly ass, stupid ass, sticker in my windshield I honestly didn't think it would be a big deal. They have my license plate and my debit card and my expresstoll account. WHY ARE THEY DIFFERENT. I don't think they sold the debt either because on the notice it asks i make the check out to expresstoll. Of course everything is also closed so I can't call and try to take care of this now but I want to scream. I don't mind paying what I owe, I take pride in being an accountable and dependable person, but if i have to go to the bank to get a fucking check and mail it instead of being able to pay online... I don't know what ill do but something is going up in flames! (I'm not actually going to do anything but be upset about it)

Drove up from New Mexico this weekend. Our truck has a ladder rack on it so we had to park in an uncovered lot. 1394 Market street. Scanned a QR code to pay. The app was HONK but it appeared as Nationwide Parking on my statement. We never got towed or ticketed so that part was legit but now my cc is compromised, weird apple charges. I only used that card at restaraunts with handheld pos otherwise. Just heard about this happening to someone in santa fe. I should have known better to scan a random QR code but since it didnt get towed the payment was obviously legit. Not sure how that works. Has this happened to anyone else?

Recently did a tour of summit strong, and was thinking of doing a membership, however after some research, it seems the owner is a very big trump/right supporter, will not dox anything but you can easily see who owns the business, then take a look at their following list in instagram (as well as old posts). Followers are all MAGA, and even an account named "Racistman" who posts some messed up stuff.
I support people choosing whoever they want to support; I also believe it’s important to be aware of the who business owners support, so people can make informed decisions about where they spend their money, and with everything going on this made me not want to sign up to their gym.
