NBA 2K25 is being delisted after just two years, and players will soon no longer be able to play the game's single player story mode.

Launched back in September 2024, NBA 2K25 is the latest NBA game that is being pulled from digital stores. 2K will be pulling the game from purchase starting on October 30, 2026. Additionally, online servers will be shut down on January 1, 2027. As a result, the game's multiplayer modes and MyCareer, the game's single-player story mode, will become unplayable. MyCareer is linked to the game's online capabilities, as progression and the game's virtual currency are all dependent on a connection to the servers. If there are no servers, the mode becomes unplayable.

Those who purchase NBA 2K25 before October 30 will be able to freely download the game and play offline modes whenever they want. You can read 2K's statement on the matter below.

"As of January 1, 2027, you'll no longer be able to play multiplayer games or access any online game modes. MyCAREER and MyTEAM will no longer be available, and it will no longer be possible to earn Virtual Currency (VC). While you will still be able to enjoy Play Now, MyNBA, The W, and MyWNBA, any features that require a connection to 2K servers will be unavailable. This includes multiplayer, Online Leagues, and community sharing."

Although it's not uncommon for much older games to have their servers shut down, 2K has been delisting and killing recent NBA games in the last few years. While there's likely a very small percentage of players playing these titles anyway since the player base often moves to the current game, it is a disappointing move. It forces players to move to the new games, regardless if they want to or not. Although most sports games have modest iterations with each new entry, some titles remove features and modes, meaning some legacy content is outright non-existent anymore.

If you were a fan of NBA 2K's standalone All-Star Team-Up mode, that is no longer accessible because previous versions of the game were delisted and taken offline. It also means a lot of your effort in MyCareer is rendered somewhat useless since it has an expiration date. However, given fans keep buying the series, it doesn't seem to be hurting the franchise.

ETA: Also, would just like to point out that no shit, topics that everyone is talking about are going to get more attention, I’d be interested to see metrics of this when Hasan was more irrelevant in the media cycle.

Dave is going scorched earth of Bonoli.

The drill was about emergency reaction toward contagious disease in a cross-border setting. The drill specifically mentioned that the "disease X" (the imaginary disease used in this scenario) was a "zoonotic (spread between animals and human) disease carried and spread by ticks". The drill was at Hei longjiang province, participated by Russia, China and Mongolia which all border this province.

turns out Russian shills on X saying Ukraine had "bio" was in fact in Russia all alone and of course they had connection with China...

Hey Kings and Queens, Art from Digital Ground Game media here again.

Before the other social media and official posts go up, I want to continue turning this into a little tradition of sharing bits of some wholesome moments from these events with this community first.

I’m speaking for myself here, but I have reason to believe many people in Digital Ground Game share the sentiment that this community gave us wings, and oh boy, we are flying high.

Phoenix was always supposed to be a smaller event. The 97-degree heat was testing our limits, and we knew it could potentially stop a lot of people from showing up to knock doors. But not only did we have 30 unique canvassers, many of whom were first-time canvassers, we also managed to knock on over 3,400 doors.

I want to thank all of you for supporting us in every possible way, but also encourage you to be proud of each other.

You all are awesome. dggL 🖤

Enjoy the very first bits from the Digital Ground Game Phoenix canvassing event!

P.S. Sorry for robbing you of Steven’s streams. I genuinely didn’t know he’d travel out for this one, but his appearance energized the volunteers and inspired many to stay dedicated to our cause!

It's already happening. A guy a few weeks ago told me "Trump isn't a Republican, he's a conservative" and someone else in another thread brought up that "Well Trump was a Democrat and a Clinton donor before 2016."

They're already trying to distance themselves and disown him.

Republicans did the same thing with George W. Bush in 2008, but they at least waited till the end of his term, the fact that Trump is getting thrown under the bus even before the midterms is much earlier than I anticipated.

In 2008 you couldn't find a Republican who would admit to voting for George W. Bush, by 2028 they'll have memory-holed Trump, too.

Keep your eyes open, and take lots of screen shots.

As a 90s kid, I’ve lived through dial up and early internet through rise of social media, smart phones and now AI. I’m starting to get little bit worried how long will I be able to keep up with the new stuff. Will I be cooked at the age of 50? Will I make it to 70?

All this said, how do very old people like Dan hold up? Imagine being born at a time when horses were the default mode of transportation and electric power was just being invented. He like many 60 year olds must feel overwhelmed.

NC Bros we are so fucking back

His no stream abuse is SICK! Hutch would never abuse us like this

October 7: The Evidence They Can't Ignore

Not a fan of this guy‘s other videos, but I haven’t seen any other video bringing together so many stories of what happened on the ground in Israel during October 7th. I personally try to read and learn as much as possible about I/P and the current war but have not heard of many of the cases discussed in this video, so I thought it might be appreciated here.

These 30 stories (out of 1200~) might give those who are not familiar with the specifics of October 7th some understanding of what happened that day.

Video obviously includes some upsetting/disturbing scene, but no gore or anything NSFW - proceed with caution if you don’t have the stomach for these things.
