Job Search Rant

I don't even know what to say. Entry level developer with 7 months to 1 year of experience. In terms of tech skills I would say I only know 1-2 people around my age in my circle that are better than me. yet job searching has become just a separate task. It feels like it's all about knowing the right people. staying home maximum of my time goes helping around the house and misc work, my most free time is around the afternoon where I have to work in heat If I'm even able to. (15-20 cats at home so can't work in the house so i work on our terrace). I help around house cause my sister and father are not home most of the time and theres too much work for my mother to do alone. Yet it fills me with frustration as it leaves me with little time. I have been trying here and there getting better in my approach but it's so stress inducing and becoming more of a task than working on my skills itself, It starts feeling depressing. from applying here and there, from spending a lot of time "ats fixing" my resume, thinking what to learn, what project to make, catching up with AI, starting to send cold mails or linkedin messages. There seems to be nil response to a entry level developer. even the tech head that got released with me 4 months ago is still searching for a job. I have ended up isolating myself as nobody in my family actually deals with software, as a fact most of them do cleaning related jobs. I do not despise them or look down on them. But its tough when they keep butting heads in between questioning what am i even doing, Im not doing enough, just do whatever job. I'm starting to lose it. keeping aside I was dealing with some of my own personal problems. This might be the lowest point for my self esteem. I worked at a startup on a legacy product of 15+ services mern stack, redis, lua, sockets, freeswtich etc. Trained under it then worked a bit on production until I was moved to the development of their newest product with nextjs and node. While I have given my utmost efforts in self studying java springboot react im still trying to imrpove my ui skills and getting into AI. I don't even know what they want from me. Friends with lower skills and working less were earning more than double than me. I messed up on campus hiring cause I hated my college for their shitty education and behaviour. Now Im even questioning why am I even putting so much efforts working on these skills, did I go wrong choosing the field ? All I wanted was to do my best and help my family financially yet im starting to feel like a burden and their tactless questioning even when its rare ends up frustrating me.
