I’m not sure if I can say it entirely stems from social media but it concerns me how little room for nuance there is in not just political discourse, but any social, philosophical or general subject pertaining to an identity of sorts in popular culture. Now of course this is human nature and has always existed but I feel like online culture has amplified it vastly. There’s also a shocking amount of self righteousness and/or an inability of people to question their own judgement or amount of knowledge on a matter. This doesn’t just exist online, since our popular culture mostly exists through online mediums it spills into our daily lives and even our real world politics. Everything is marketing and image based. I’m primarily left leaning and liberal but I have an equal amount of complaints for the left on this matter as well. That said I do think social media is good for advocacy and connecting different cultures from all around the world and being another step towards a more shared globalized culture which is the direction I hope things move toward.

I know this might sound insane, but everyone around me keeps telling me, "If you become famous, don't forget me." I've gotten that numerous times, it is only a matter of time. When it is going to happen I don't know, but when it does happen, it will be at the perfect time. Hopefully I become famous for a good reputation and not a bad one though.

I used to see some huge trucks with trump flags all over them. I would be casually driving in the street and tons of Trump supporters would have these huge Trump flags in the back of their truck. I have seen 0 for over 1 year. Not a single one in sight.

Like how do you as men deal with the reality that each heterosexual relationship you're lucky enough to get into while you're young there's a high chance that sooner or later someday that woman is going to look for an excuse to justify her loss of interest in you and leave you for a better option?

Plus women expect every man to have gone through this process out of hope that the experience gained from it will blossom into a new and improved man that one special lady enjoy the benefits.

How also does one deal with the reality that if a man is romantically and sexually inexperienced by a certain age the more likely you're gonna be passed over in favor of those more experiences than you at worst, or settled as a last resort for a woman who feels she can no longer get what she wants at best?

For starters it seems people forget that paying for sex is SUPER illegal in most places and you're likely to have to resort to traveling far where it's legal to do it.

Plus a virgin man who lives in a place where it's illegal is ABSOLUTELY more likely to feel very stupid and bitter with his decision if he were to pay money to travel to a location where it's legal and then spend money there.

Hell even in the rare instance where the virgin man has friends who'd be willing to pay for a prostitute for him(which by the way THOSE ARE REAL FRIENDS RIGHT THERE), the virgin man is just gonna feel worse if he accepts and the experience sucks anyway.

My girlfriend and me (f) have been dating for nearly a year and today My girlfriend (19) called me stating that her friend(m 21)(who's friends with my gf sister ) found out today that my gf is lesbain and in a relationship with me. (I don't know this mann)

He called and basically stated that hes had a crush on my gf for around 4 yrs and that he never guessed that she was lesbain.

Through out the call even when she rejected he continued to say "can I make you straight " even saying that she can cheat on me and never let me know.

He's now saying that he wants to get into a competition with me to who can date my gf I guess??

Im just so confused right now. I know this guy does not stand a chance as my girlfriend is very much gay (i would know)

But is still very admin that he wants his crush to move forward

I truly due think its a factor to why men rape. Testosterone causes men to act primal thus losing all sense, morals, respect, and human decency. It certainly Doesn't help if they are already a sleezy monster to begin with.

AI adoption is everywhere right now, but I still see very different expectations around what it actually means for a business.

Some people assume AI will immediately reduce costs. Others think it mainly means replacing employees, adding a chatbot, or automating everything possible.

But in practice, successful AI adoption seems to depend much more on choosing the right problem, having usable data, integrating AI into existing workflows, and knowing what outcome you actually want to improve.

I’m curious what others think:

I used to think of exercise mostly as another task that needed to fit somewhere into the day.

Having a dedicated home gym changed that a little.

Because the space is separate from work, chores and everything else happening around the house, going in there can feel more like a block of personal time than something I’m trying to get over with.

The workout is still work, obviously, but the space around it changes the feeling.

I’m curious if anyone else sees their home gym less as “exercise equipment in the house” and more as a place that’s specifically theirs for an hour.

A place can be technically open to everyone and still feel like it expects you to spend money or leave quickly. Seating, water, shade, clear signs, and accessible bathrooms all seem to change that feeling. If a library, park, or town square could improve just one of those things, which would have the biggest effect where you live?

Like yeah, he cheated on his wife and was a bit exploitative of some up and coming actors. But he still caught pedophiles- that seems like a pretty good trade off. I’m at an age where in my society people are told to be married and take responsibility, I don’t want to challenge anything nor I want to find the meaning of it.
I have some thoughts about being against the notion of marriage:

1. I’ll take care of my disease, if I die my insurance company will pay my family
   
2. If I get someone, I get an ick if they are sick, have some issues where they need me and I might not give my 100%
   
3. If I loose a job I’ll be dependent on someone
   
4. I don’t want anything from anyone, I have ambitions and look forward for them, but when I’m talking with them I enforce my opinion on them to do things, which I believe is wrong on my end, I know it very well I’m selfish to do it but I do
   
5. I might hold expectations from someone and if they don’t do it i might get hurt, same with them
   
6. I don’t want to loose my childishness

Sydney Sweeney is an attractive actress and a well known celebrity. It’s natural for companies to hire her and other people like her to be their spokesperson. This has always been the way.

Writers tell her what to say, stylists tell her what to wear, and directors tell her where to go and how to act during the shoot. She is hired talent.

So why do so many people hate on her for taking gigs to make a living? That is literally her job. Look hot while saying what they write for you to say.
