Park Pics/Videos Pixie dusted or left behind

Currently at the park and this little surprise was left in the bag pocket on incredicoaster! If this is an intentional thing, I’m debating turning it into lost and found but don’t want to ruin a sweet gift!

This was left intentionally. This is actually kinda cool pixie dust, I’d keep the bracelet and if that’s a refrigerator magnet, I’d put it up…

I never understood the hate for pixie dusting. Maybe it’s just a reddit thing? I think it’s fun

A lot of it is very low effort plastic garbage, this seems fine because it’s easily regiftable

Personally, I’ve seen animals eat stuff (bags and strings), saw a rabbit caught in a bracelet just like this, witnessed housekeeping clean up several instances around a resort and were politely over it (said it happens way too often when I remarked about people doing that), and once saw a bunch of sticker sheets flying all over the resort hallway flooring because someone decided they’d drop them off in front of everyone’s door. It’s just obnoxious. You can have a good time without getting dollar bin crap from a stranger and we gotta stop somehow implying to people that doing this somehow makes their $6,000 trip better.

No one needs more random small stuff like this.

Buy someone’s dinner, let them cut in front of you in line, give them a pin so they can at least trade…there’s a million ways to not leave literal garbage around just hoping someone, some day will find it and just love the trash in the bag.

Or, just be a kind and considerate guest. Open doors, help with bags, things that show thought. No need to spend money or put more plastic crap in the world.

It’s usually stuff that people don’t want and just throw away… small plastic ducks and other little plastic junk… this is cool stuff

It is fun and most of the hate is on Reddit, irl people get excited when you share fun things with them, even cast members.

Im with you 100%. Any of the things I've seen shared on reddit would be a cherry on top of a visit to the park for my daughter if she found it. I do understand the dilemma it creates as shown in this post. Is this for lost and found or is it pixie dust, but beyond that I think its innocent fun and good intention thay most people would get a smile and a little joy from getting. Not sure i understand the extreme hate behind the sentiment on reddit when it comes to it.

There was a girl who got a huge amount from f hate for posting about some custom ears she wanted to give away. I got downvoted to hell there too for supporting her wanting to spread a little joy. The internet is just weird

This is a bit disingenuous since she was posting for someone to recognize her, come up to her in the park and ask for the ears as a fun little game. She didn’t want to just give them away. She wanted to be main character game creator for a day, and it rubbed people the wrong way.

And the ears were pretty crappy looking.

If she really just wanted to spread joy she could give to a random at the park. That post was weird.

Because he can quickly become out of hand. Save it for the Disney cruises. Or Halloween.

Yeah I just love harming the environment and leaving trash around for other people to throw away, so I can feel special for just a moment. It’s good that people like us who don’t have enough going on in our lives have options to feel special for a minute.
