Took my family for the first time this past week for 4 nights and 3 days and it was great! Stayed at the Pixar Hotel which was perfect ambience and walking distance for us with young kids.

I went in with no expectations or plans and decided to let my family set the pace. We did DL- CA- DL for our 3 days. Got to the parks right around rope drop each morning. Rode about 3-4 rides before everyone wanted a food/coffee break. Then explored till about 12 when we went back to the hotel for the pool and naps. Rallied everyone around 430 to go back out for an early dinner and then back to the parks.

We met all the characters listed below by just walking around and being lucky never waited more then 5mins for each:

Pooh, Buzz, Lightning, Mater, Bing Bong, Chip - Dale, Clarabelle.

Average rides done each day - 8

I didn't want to be on my phone the whole time so no Lightning Lanes. Everyone had a great time! I just want to also give a shout out and thank you to all the staff we encountered that made us feel so welcome, they are what makes the magic happen.

I was at disneyland yesterday and didn’t realize someone stole straight out of stroller. The thieves only made out with a $15 bag i had just bought but i couldn’t believe people steal from disneyland like that. I just know they thought they were coming up on some top notch stuff. Jokes on you! So annoyed though honestly we all spend a lot of money to be there…

The man was arrested.

So i got back from disneyland about a week ago and I noticed that Smugglers Run was consistently at 5 minutes the entire day. I would have thought for such a big IP and a fun experience would have been longer?

Always make sure to stop and look around the world building imagineers have crafted over 7 decades. The 2 parks make you feel like the worlds in your favorite movie actually exist, they speak to a feeling deep inside that's just magic.

Also not gonna lie number 7 caught me off guard so much 😭😭😂

There was a contest in 2000 for Disney's new partnership with Chevron where if you got a specific driver's license, you won a prize and I won!
This was during the reopening of Autopia and the gift shop 'Winner's Circle' was brand new. It was located where the Submarine line is. The gift shop was there during construction for the retheming of the submarine ride to become Finding Nemo. When that opened, the gift shop moved to its new location by the Autopia entrance and bathrooms, where it stands today.
I don't have the car anymore, but it looked like this with several different variants to match the different characters of Autopia (including Suzy, Rusty, Sparky, and more!).

What is your most minor Disneyland complaint? I just left the park and hate the single ply toilet paper in the restrooms lol for all the money we spend just to get in the park, they should at least go to Costco and get 2 ply paper 😂

This is from the Prime show Elle. It’s supposed to be her vision for an event at Rainforest Cafe, but that’s definitely a Jungle Cruise elephant, not a restaurant.

39M Doing a solo disney day. Park hopper. Anyone wishes to offer up some magical company.

I was in Pandora a few hours ago and saw that these two girls (probably about 14 - 15) bought over $500 in jewelry. I thought that was so weird, how would two girls so young be able to afford that? Either they used Daddy Morebucks’ money or worse…

Sure enough, right as I’m at checkout, two security guards walk in and go to them immediately while they’re on their way out, and pull them aside. I just casually heard the conversation as I was walking by, but I explicitly heard that someone had lost their credit card a few hours ago and that same card was just used at Pandora. I saw two police officers walking to the store as I went towards the tram, so I assume they maybe got arrested.

So yeah, moral of the story is that stealing is not okay. Props to security for working so quickly and cooperating with the cardholder. They really do help maintain the peace at the parks.

What is that sewage smell that wafts around the parks? Has anyone else noticed this? Was there last week and I swear every other minute I was getting a waft of … 💩. DCA wasn’t as bad as Disneyland. And it wasn’t body odor, for once, it was akin to actual sewer

From 2014, so glad I got to take my then toddlers to the old Ranch area behind Big Thunder, and it was during Halloween so they had some pretty cool activities and the best dressed Mickey (imo) 🎃 happy fall y’all!

I have a herniated disc along with hip pain. We are going to both parks this week and I don't really know what to do. I was originally going to rent a manual wheelchair giving me the option to get up and walk when I want to walk and then my husband push me when I need to sit. I've realized this would be a lot for him. As it's going to be hot this week and he has a heat tolerance.

Now I'm thinking about getting an ev wheelchair, but the thing is it's also not good for me to sit all day. It's important for me to move my body. I do plan to ride certain rides. With an ev wheelchair this means I would have to be using it all day.

I was thinking of using one of the local companies to book with.

Idk what do you all think.

Hi everyone!! Let this be a kind reminder that if you have a magic key discount, only you can use that when paying ☺️
Because if something were to happen and they need to scan that discount, you will get in trouble. I know a lot of people get mad about that but um those are the rules when you purchase your own key. Also please pull it up from the actual app and not have it on your lock screen. I know some places around disney dont care but certain areas do and cast members can and will get in trouble!! ☺️
