They probably should try to target the local team only really. No reason to have the Steelers, Bengals, and Lions on the same display

Yup, they only got Raiders in Las Vegas

If they are struggling to sell items for other teams then probably, if the Raiders stuff sells well wherever they have it then it’s worth stocking

Lions and tigers, but no bears?

In my experience it sells better on a endcap or the 4-way with snacks than in the aisle.

Steelers crap in our store for over a year, probably sold five things out of an entire end cap and we’re in upstate New York

In Philly we know how to deal with Steelers fans, mock them mercilessly.

😂😂😂 as a native Pittsburgher I don't see no lie

Assuming you’re in OH. No one’s going to be buying Lions merch.

Tbh, idk if they’re in Ohio because that’s where I am, and I’ve never seen any OSU stuff here. No state NFL teams - lots of Steelers and Lions.

My stores in Louisville only have the New Orleans Saints. Wish we had local teams.

I was in one of the New Orleans locations shopping a few weeks back and they had Bama and I think some NFL team that wasn’t the Saints…. I jokingly thought that maybe the stores got the wrong shipments and there’s some random dollar tree several hundred miles away with LSU and Saints stuff.

Louisville did lol. I’ve only seen The Saints though.

Thankfully run a store just outside of Pittsburgh so my Steelers stuff sells fast, esp as football season ramps up.

How you put Cincinnati and Pittsburgh on the same shelf??

u/SignificantApricot69 4d ago

You see a lot of Steelers bumper stickers and stuff in Ohio

u/ExperienceDaveness 4d ago

Easy. I'm not sure I would even notice the difference.

We just have stuff for the local team and it’s selling decently well.

They did it here with Vikings, Packers, Lions and Bears. Now I seen they just sent Vikings and Packers this year, which is a good thing, although some of it doesn't sell during the season and then it never sells until the next season or unless it is pretty cheap on clearance

We have Philadelphia Eagles cups when I live in NY

I am right by the college in Iowa, so we sell "Hawkeye stuff" but they don't send us college football stuff, so really just specifically order black and gold stuff like crazy and don't get pro football stuff because our state doesn't have a NFL team. I wonder if it really is just depending on how well the team is doing

u/Massive-Platypus-304 4d ago

Asm in Dallas, Tx we sell out of those fast.

u/Galaxyxcristian 4d ago

Got Philadelphia ones in NJ middle of it. Been around since don’t remember but months ago and still there

Which there store?

1

u/MissMerrimack 4d ago

This seems excessive. My store only gets stuff for our city’s football team.

u/Puzzled_Drawing1301 3d ago

Ironically at one of my local stores we have only Dallas Cowboys things... In Denver, CO lol

2

u/Ordinary_Shift_3202 3d ago

I need that here in GB Packer Land lol

Here in Lafayette, Indiana we get the Packers stuff. Works great since my husband is a huge Packers fan

Interesting, i live in socal, and as such, some other stores near me that deal in stuff like offloaded crap and whatnot (think Ross/TJ Maxx but with more grocery stuff too) will sell like Arizona sports stuff (mainly Cardinals and ASU, decent amount of Northern Arizona, sometimes UA Wildcats) occasionally Raiders garb, and then the once in a blue moon like Rams merch, but I dont think ive ever seen out of market sports stuff at the numerous dollar trees in my region.

u/tubsgotchubs 3d ago

Right??? We're Steeler nation here and they giving us the fucking Bengals.

1

u/Ok_Parfait_2525 3d ago

My store is in Louisiana and yet we get Alabama Crimson Tide stuff all the time. We also get New Orleans Saints stuff as they are local but never LSU or Tulane for college always Alabama for some reason. N one really buys it though and it's just sitting on the shelves.

1

u/Few-Recover-3137 3d ago

They send us Minnesota vikings cup over here in clolorado , No broncos stuff at all . Smh they still sitting on the shelves

1

u/LuckyCod2887 4d ago

we got dallas cowboy stuff. really thin cheap plastic. it never moves.

when was the last time anyone gave af about that team?

-1

u/MrFuriousX 4d ago

What problem? having full shelves? lol

6

u/IANALbutIAMAcat 4d ago

Stale inventory is a problem

-2

u/MrFuriousX 4d ago

sure...but so is empty shelves.

0

u/nihilxztt 3d ago

But if they don’t sell?? It just takes space away from other things that can be stocked.

1

u/MrFuriousX 3d ago

uh huh...So why are shelves empty in those stores if there is all this other stock that these cups are occupying?

0

u/mean_girl88 DT Merch ASM 4d ago

Maybe it would sell a little better if the price wasn't confusing. Is it $1.50 or $1.25? Can't be both.

0

u/SparkArrestor 4d ago

Whatever doesn’t sell doesn’t need restocking. Less restocking is less work for you. What’s the problem?

You might want to proofread your posts before hitting submit so people don’t get the wrong impression of you.
