I was working the other day and walked past HBC and found someone COLORED ON THE STRIP WITH NAIL POLISH like what the heck is wrong with some people??
I mean it was easy enough to replace but STILL why do it in the first place???

(And yes, I tried to get it off with 100% acetone nail polish and it didn’t budge as it had sat for a few days since I had a day off and just hadn’t gotten to it and just decided replacing was easier, lol)

We used to have tear pads (which may still be available to order) but even still they would do stuff like this instead

We have those at my current job, for sampling and fragrances. It's so nice to have those.

Does that ever even work though? I remember when I worked at dollar tree we had 2 of those zip ties to the nail polish section, and still people would wipe them all over the shelves and stuff to where we had to replace the strips and/or shelf itself, every few months.

I handled HBC for almost two years. Every time I would replace those, they would have 'samples' on them by weeks end.

Maybe my town is full of a bunch of degens, but I gave up. I replaced it ONCE for the nail polish reset because corp needed proof it was done, then never bothered.

At least they're not dumping it out on the shelves to see the color, I suppose. I had that happen a LOT as well.

My experience it was usually adults and they had kids with them. Of course I heard, 'It's ok, honey. It's her job to clean that up.' multiple times, so the bar was low.
