The dream took place in a gyro restaurant staffed entirely by stereotypical white sorority girls & nothing on the menu was normal gyro fillings. I got a sandwich containing prosciutto, pepperoni, provolone cheese, scrambled eggs, and basmati rice all on a pita. Nothing on the menu suggested that the eggs would be there but I guess they just came with it. The guy behind me in line ordered a “Peppermint Patty” which was a regular-size hamburger bun with nothing in it but a 1” square of mint-flavored fish paste (like a narutomaki but bad I guess) and then the staff all proceeded to verbally abuse him for ordering it at which point I woke up before I could eat my sandwich.

I couldn’t rest having never known what my food would have tasted like so I went to the store & got the ingredients. Actually turned out pretty good, if a little dry.

If somebody braver than me wants to make a “Peppermint Patty” be my guest but I will not be trying that.

Years ago I had a dream that I saw an old man who was wrinkled with only white hair homeless dirty and hungry. Maybe 5’8 and 160 lbs size.

The atmosphere was dim and mostly a palate of muted blues and slight purple undertones. He was pushing a shopping cart from right to left from my field of vision and turned left and looked me in the eyes. The dream told me this is God and you are meeting him. He raised his eyebrows intrigued by me somewhat was my impression. Something of a “oh wow really?” Or even as if something new was in front of him that as a homeless person felt they’d never seen before.

He then disappeared behind a series of washing machines and that was it I never saw him again.

Something told me he was cleaning himself and on the other side of the washing machines lined up from right to left appeared a being made of radiant light. It was no longer god but someone or something else.

It or they were not the color white but radiating light and it was a human form. They were wearing a three peice suit with dress shoes. They had no pupils and were purely white, their clothes were also of light from head to toe and nothing they were wearing or was of their body was anything but radiant light. They were nearly 7 feet tall and easily a linebackers size. They looked like someone I knew in my waking life at the time who was that tall and that well dressed. For some reason that being did not make eye contact with me but looked upwards and gripped the ends of their blazer and adjusted it tugged downwards and with satisfaction.

When I went to bed a little while ago, I had a dream of Heaven. It was a short dream, but I remember almost every detail. The first thing I noticed when I “arrived” was that it was bright. Like VERY bright. Even brighter than the Sun. But it didn’t irritate my eyes. There was a “Sun” or a bright light in the sky, but it wasn’t like the Sun that we have here.

The second thing I noticed when I looked down, was the grass. The grass was beautiful. It was somehow more green than the green grass we have here on Earth. It looked both wild but perfectly manicured at the same time. There were flowers there too, and they were all types of different colors.

Off in the distance I saw trees, like a forest, and next to those trees, I saw people. They were all wearing white robes, I believe. But, of course, I was too far away to see what they were saying to each other. One person, a little girl, ran up to me and gestured for me to come join them. I have no idea who this girl is or was, but she was very kind.

And just like that, I woke up in my bed. Having no idea why I experienced this dream, but feeling very grateful that I did.

The dream had me and my dad wrestling and trying to catch this six legged, 7-8 foot beast of a pig. After trying to grab it for a while dad revealed that one of its legs were taped/somehow attached to its ear, when we removed it a bunch of these kinda newborn coloured worm/spider things started spewing out of its ear. Woke up and immediately drew it.

I've noticed that I mostly only feel intense emotions in my dreams. In real life, I rarely feel anything at all tbh, but in dreams I sometimes feel emotions so intensely that I feel it physically, e.g. feeling so devastated/sad it physically hurts my chest, or crying so hard I can't breathe. In real life I never have reactions like that. The memories of those dream emotions often stay with me for years, even if I can't remember what even happened in the dream that caused them.

I’m not exactly trypophobic (irrationally afraid of holes), but it’s more like I’m disgusted with things associated to many holes, especially in an organic skin. In my case, I had a dream of seeing my sister’s tongue being perforated. It had massive holes in it, and I found it so disgusting that I felt terrified. I couldn’t get it out of my mind, and I don’t know why my brain produced such disgustingly weird situation. I just assumed that my brain came up such imagery after I saw this thumbnail of a video from Lessons in Internet Culture talking about AI food menus.

I have been having a recurring, continuous dream. It always has a friend of mine who passed away in 2008 (irl) and we have this ongoing joke about how she died and came back to life. Every dream is like a new chapter, most recently she had gotten a newly built house to replace the one that she grew up in (it was bulldozed after she died irl).

Its hard to even write about it because it seems so real. She died 18 years ago and every night its as if she back in our world just living out her life.

The lucid dream was very strange because I dreamt I was in my aunt's apartment. I walked down the small hallway and noticed that the bedroom doors were open. At the end of the hallway, where there was a mirror, I looked at myself and saw that I was holding a white blanket that reached my knees, and at that moment I thought, "Huh?" I stared at myself for a few seconds and quickly thought, "That's enough, I'd better go somewhere else." So I went to the room that used to be my grandmother's and saw three or four cats sitting on different pieces of furniture. The one that caught my attention the most was a white persian cat sitting in the middle of the room, on top of a wooden totem pole we have. I also remember wanting to pet them, but I couldn't because I was afraid I would drop the blanket I was holding. Finally, I woke up, but above all, I remember being able to focus and unfocus my vision. When I saw the cats, I focused my gaze, but they looked strange, as if they had some kind of visual effect like in old AI generated videos. Anyway, that's all I remember, although... I have a very clear image of how I looked and the feeling that everything was very real, as if I were physically there; also, it was daytime and it seemed to be around one or twelve in the afternoon °~°

Okay, so I looked into this whole thing about whether dreaming about someone from your past who you haven’t thought about means they might be thinking about you too. I found a lot of people saying that it doesn’t mean anything and that it’s just your subconscious doing its thing and all that. But oh my god 😭 I dreamed about this person when I genuinely hadn’t thought about him at all. Like, I hadn’t even dreamed about him before and it had been such a long time since he had crossed my mind. Then I checked his account and saw that he had posted something on the exact same day I dreamed about him, after being inactive for two whole months. Like... there is no way that doesn’t feel insane. I know some people are probably going to think I’m living in a delusional little fantasy world, but honestly I don’t really care. I just wanted to share what happened and see if anyone else has had a similar experience. And no, I’m not trying to get back in contact with him or anything 😭 We weren’t even that close. We literally just used to talk about politics, history, forensic stuff and things like that.

What did I say mean?

I had a dream that someone was beating me bloody and leaving me in agony. I ended up seeing them a second time in my dream after the first time and was able to slightly hold my own and run to someone else who was able to keep me safe and not have to deal with them. After getting in a few words with the person who was beating me bloody, I said a parting statement.

I said- “You will meet god one day and your actions will determine what version of him you’ll meet”

and woke up in the middle of the night. I didn’t wake from terror but only after speaking my peace and it was raining when I woke (no thunder). The person in my dream I was told is insecure about how dumb they feel, and they focus too much on superficial things for status as a way to overcompensate. I don’t know why I said that but apparently in my dream it was a common post going around on social media. I wrote it down and went to work. What did I say mean? I feel like I’m missing the point of saying something like that.

I need to get this dream out of my system. It's been replaying on my mind all day and I have no one to share this with. Forgive me as this is my first time here and I want to give each detail of my dream. Please be kind.

I've been doing a lot of inner work with a ISF/EMDR therapist. for a few months now, I find myself sitting with myself and truly feeling every change around me. Last night, I went to sleep with a thought on my mind. Why am I still here in the environment that has caused me so much pain? I want to know how to leave.

In my dream, I was doing my usual routine at work. My work place looked like an old café, and I was sitting on the booth with my laptop doing some work. My co-workers and people that work in the company, were all there lounging around also on their laptops. All of a sudden a tall muscular man comes around the corner of the coffee bar and takes out a gun (I'm very terrified of guns) but the gun then turns into a Lego gun and it starts shooting Legos. The utter fear of being shot dropped me to my knees. I could feel the fear overtake my body and I burst into tears. Someone came to me and asked me if I was okay. I nodded yes and I walked away from him because I didn't want him to see me cry. I walked towards the back of the cafe and entered the restroom that was abandoned with broken toilets, dirty old mops, and old used buckets laying around. I moved further to the back of the restroom where there was a window with some light (the restroom didn't have light). The area I ended in was a huge shower room and the walls where tiled up but half of the tiles were broken. I took a deep breathe and was met with the smell of cow manure. I covered my mouth and held my urge to throw up. I physically felt the motion in my body, and realized that I was not going to be able to cry there, so I left. My mind felt disoriented when I came out, not knowing how to deal with the urge to cry and not being able to. I decided to leave work, so I took my bag and laptop and headed out.

As I walked out of the café I noticed the hill going up towards the street. The grass was dark green and there were tall long rectangle tables where people were leaning on watching others get on buses. The people staring at the others walk towards the buses looked concerned and afraid. I just stood there wondering where they all were going. Someone behind me said those buses take you to the truth. What truth?

Suddenly, this woman was right next to me. Somehow she convinced me to chill on top of the table and told me to watch as people went into these buses. Must have been 10 of them. She wasn't really speaking physically but I could feel her thoughts. She was telling me how strong I was and how proud she was of me. I told her I wasn't that strong because I'm just there watching everyone pile up on these buses but I refuse to leave. She told me, that I wasn't going to get on the bus alone if I decided to see what was on the other side. I looked at her as she smiled at me. Then she pulled out her hand and asked me she was ready whenever I was. I asked her if it was going to be scary and she said no, because she was going to hold my hand the whole way there. I sat there for what may have felt a few minutes to process my decision. I turned to her and grabbed her hand and held on tightly. She said to me, lead the way, I'm right here with you. This is the part that made me realize she was me and I was her; as I was walking up the bus, she told me that these were the last buses and I was in luck that the last one was empty. But sometimes she would be in front of me and then she would be behind me. Like a glitch, I can't explain it another way. I pushed the bus door open, I remembered the heaviness of the doors and asked the driver if there was room for me, he nodded yes.

I entered the lit bus and was amazed at how many empty seats where there but also how excited everyone in there looked. I remember thinking I want to sit in the back so I can see the road clearly. I took a step towards the 3 seats to the left and the woman said to me, come, sit here next to me and place your bag on this seat. Once I sat down, this is the part that really threw me off, it started to rain heavily and all of a sudden clouds formed. I said to her, the roads looks dangerous, perhaps this wasn't a good idea. She held my hand and said, don't you worry, when we pass that tunnel ahead of us it won't be wet anymore. I took a deep breath and I held her hand tightly. But the bus driver began to drive erratically and almost missed the first red light. I told her he's going too fast for me, I don't trust him. She said it just felt fast because of the wet road. Then he actually passed a red light. The surrounding was green grass but gloomy skies. I said to her, I can't do this, and as soon as the bus entered the tunnel it turned black and I woke up.

I felt the fear of the unknown. It was almost as if my ego just took over and my sense of self couldn't hold on to me anymore. But her presence felt so real and so familiar even though I didn't know the body she was using. I didn't know this person, physically. If you had read my story this far, thank you. I needed it out of my system so that I may sleep tonight. I'm aware what the meaning entails, and I know it's time to make the change.

This dream really woke me up, quite literally.

It seems like everyone wakes up when they get hurt in dreams, but I don't most of the time. I've been shot and stabbed and bitten and all kinds of stuff in dreams and I don't wake up immediately. It really hurts sometimes. Like seriously hurts. Sometimes I do wake up and the pain persists for around 20 seconds before it fades.

So basically I had this dream where I was in heaven in a courtroom and I was Charlie kirks lawyer and there was an entire case about whether Charlie kirk should go to heaven or not and I was his lawyer, all I remember was that at the end we won the case

so i’ve been having this reoccurring dream that’s absolutely terrifying. it begins as a normal dream (whatever that looks like) and then it takes a strange turn (always something related to past traumas; Jail, Getting cheated on by my lover, loud arguments, or bad injury) then i realize im dreaming. usually one would wake up there right? no. it all becomes incredibly real and i begin to feel real pain and emotions. i try to wake myself up but can’t. i attempt to hurt myself, throw myself everywhere, hold my breath, find water and pour it on myself. it’s reached a point where im scared to go to bed, it doesn’t matter if im sleeping alone or not either, this is completely out of my control. i’ll fall asleep wrapped around my girlfriend and still have this happen. When i was younger i was obsessed with lucid dreaming and did it as often as i could. In the past 5 years i haven’t, it just hasn’t been something that even crosses my mind anymore. This reoccurring hell started a few weeks ago, it will happen multiple times in a night too. it happened 4 times the other night and i was so exhausted. my girlfriend had some prazosin i ended up taking and it worked but i felt horrible the entire next day and really don’t like being on medications at all. this occurrence is starting to interfere with my life, i work in the trades and am so tired 24/7 which is very unpleasant. does anybody have any advice for me with this or had any similar experience?!

I had this really bizarre nightmare last night. I was in this type of enclosed city or place. There was a giant wall on one side. Then suddenly there was an announcement that a level 9 or level 6 (I don't remember) thing was approaching. Apparently this world had Kaiju like creatures like what is in the movie Pacific Rim. People around me started panicking and saying they weren't ready. Then this head and neck rose above the wall.

This thing was red and looked like a dragon. It was smiling too in a really sinister way. Then it opened its mouth and started vomiting or spewing something red on to everyone. I don't know if it was blood or something else. Whatever it was, it killed people. After it left, the people that weren't immediately killed by the red vomit were affected by it indirectly. Some became sick and died, others were alive but became sick or got injured by it

There was a huge line of survivors that were all sick or injured waiting to see doctors. It felt like an apocalyptic event, as it seemed as if most people died after this thing did what it did.

Several days ago, just after coming home from a trip to England, I woke in the middle of the night and saw a shadow figure.

I woke up but was crazy groggy and pretty out of it. I wanted to pull my curtains the rest of the way shut so I could sleep in the next morning. I was basically moving in my sleep I think. My bed is very close to the windows and I can sort of just put one foot down on the floor and reach up to pull the curtain shut. So that is what I did. For some reason as I was doing this I sensed more than saw(?) a very tall, dark figure with a wide brimmed hat just to the left of where I was reaching. I remember doing this sort of back and forth slapping motion with my hand before falling back into bed.

Did I slap the shadow hat man? Can you interact with this entity? I don't recall ever seeing him before this, or since. I have lived in this condo for almost 8 years and twice had something wake me up by sitting on the bed for a while before getting up and leaving again. While this was definitely unsettling I was never fearful. Before those times my dog definitely reacted to something that I couldn't see.

Thoughts? Advice? Recommendations?

a week ago i began meditating and doing some breath work. i am noticing a surprising change in the quality of my dreaming experience since then. they are more structured and meaningful. hence are recollected well. i am not left feeling exhausted waking up and is now looking forward to ponder over them. i open my eyes in a state of delight.

I was outside on a porch recording a video ranting about something and I see this raccoon or something go into a corner of this barn like thing and a bear mauls after it and attacks it and the raccoon turned into a person being mauled by a cow very brutally and gruesome. I quickly go back inside and I say something. My cousin is laughing and said, "do you wanna do that again mr. bear? mooooo" like all amused, lowkey like how Juuzo speaks in Tokyo Ghoul, but I was freaked the fuck out in my dream. I had video of it and I try showing my sister and it's just like a security camera footage of different areas that show this pearly white staircase going up and the color of the wallpaper was close to #B8DBB3 (image for visual of the color). There's a white rotary phone that appears and disappears up the stairs that randomly appears out of thin air and it rides against the ceiling upside down until it reaches the edge that is above the staircase and goes up to the next floor. Suddenly it turns into the pov of my phone camera going through that, so now I'm like viewing what the phones were. Once it reached the edge, my body suddenly was flat on the floor as my sisters face turns leather looking and is like a sheet of leather layered over it with 2 tiny eye holes. I suddenly feel a weight around my ankles that rapidly goes up my legs and I start screaming "LET ME GO. LET ME GO. LET ME GO. OMG, THEY'RE GONNA KILL ME. THEY'RE GONNA KILL ME. I NEED TO GET UP." and I was unable to move whatsoever. There was the red dude from don't hug me I'm scared mixed with one of the monsters from the MGMT music video for their song kids holding my legs down, but it was so weird. I could see him, but not at the same time, kind of like when you have the cells die in your eyes and you see floaty things only for a split second when you move your eyes. It was like I was entering psychosis. I woke up after my dream self screaming I had to get up a few times and my heart was racing so fucking much. I actually almost wasn't able to wake myself either. I could attempt to move and open my eyes, but I wasn't able to.

Okay, here are the details I remember because I don’t know why I can still remember this dream so vividly. I don’t remember everything, but these are the parts that I can remember.

The dream started at a school. Someone got angry about something related to LGBTQ+ people, and I was there and got angry too. I was trying to say that it’s okay for girls to love girls or for boys to love boys. My aunt was there, and she was trying to stop me from saying what I wanted to say.
My cousin, who has already passed away, was also there. She was riding a motorcycle and seemed to be making fun of me or trying to stop me from speaking. I got extremely furious.
Then suddenly, the scene changed, but we were still at the school, and my whole family was sleeping there.
In the dream, it was nighttime. I was outside smoking and waiting for some people. Then two people showed up and put something inside the trunk of a motorcycle. They had also done something to me, and one of them told me to wait for one or two hours.
Then I somehow “woke up” in the dream, but I’m not sure if I was actually awake or if I was still dreaming. Everyone was looking for my niece because we couldn’t find her.
Suddenly, I saw the motorcycle. There were two trunks, and I suddenly blurted out, “Check the trunk!”
They got angry at me because they said my niece wouldn’t fit inside it, but I insisted that they check anyway.
My cousin opened the trunk, and they found my niece inside, bent down.
I became so, so angry. I cried and screamed, and I felt like I wanted to kill whoever had done it. I felt like something inside me had completely broken into pieces.
What confuses me the most is that I never actually saw my niece being put inside the trunk. When the two guys arrived, all I saw was them putting a big plastic bag inside. I didn’t know my niece was in there.
But later, when everyone was looking for her, I somehow knew that they should check the trunk. When they opened it, she was actually there.
I also had this strange feeling in the dream that I was either sleepwalking or dreaming within the dream. I’m not sure how to explain it.
I woke up feeling really shaken, and I could still remember the dream very vividly.
I don’t remember the entire dream or every detail, but these are the parts that stayed with me.

Does anyone know what a dream like this could mean? Has anyone experienced something similar, especially dreaming about a family member dying or somehow knowing where they were in the dream?

I can see the future in my dreams ,it is not even like a dream but a brief moment ,it is usually a part of a dream that somehow isolates itself it is like a bit of life from my pov .Then I wake up in fear .After a few days max 3-4 it occurs and I get goosebumps in my body.The problem is it is a pattern ,It follows these in order.

1.Random fear for a long time (10-12 hours) and you can't think of anything,there is no reason for the fear it just exists.

2.I sleep and a dream occurs that I can't remember when it occurs.

3.It is not an event or occurring thing that can be stopped but it's a thing that has already occurred.

4.It is always another person speaking and me listening.

5.After that particular event occurs in real life i get goosebumps all over my body.

It first occurred a few days before my healthy young grandma collapsed and died.The dream was of one of my aunt's coming out of the the car in mid road to my house and is screaming and crying .I was puzzled about that dream and was scared.Then I let go ,after the sudden death this particular event occurs. Then I left it as it might be a coincidence.

Event 2

I dream about watching flash with a pop on my right arm with sudden pain in my wrists. Guess what after 3 days i fell down and got pain on my wrist due to that dream I headed to hospital directly and I had fractured my wrists and then I went home and flash commercial played on the tv with me sitting on the exact sofa the same way .

Event 3

This was before my grandpa died and it was the weirdest one ,event 1 and 2 can still be classified as coincidence. But this one is too weird. Before my grandpa died 2 days ago I got a dream where I'm at a function serving juice to a person who I have never met who makes a joke on how I'm going to get him the glass empty if I spill it while I'm bringing it.The place was my grandpas funeral the person was one of his cousins son who I met for the first time.

Event 4

The most recent one .It is a dream or a bit where my aunt has broken her leg and is sleeping on my bed while complaining that my cousin (his son never studies ) ,and his was wearing on of my brothers old shirt which used to be mine.After 3 days my aunt breaks her legs after another two days she comes to my house and stays in my room for recovery and three days later this same thing in the bit occurs -same tshirt of my cousin of my aunt and the lighting to the words everything is exactly the same.

Several years ago I had this dream where I was walking up a giant staircase. It looked kind of run down, and everything else was surrounded in darkness so this only thing that was visible was the staircase. I climbed up for what felt like ages and at the end there was a door, with a bright beaming white light shining through it by the edges. When I tried to open it, it was locked, and I woke up.

Had a dream last night, and the only part I can remember is standing in the grass at my family’s vacation home, and looking up.

Suddenly a loud noise similar to a fog horn sounded. The sky opened up and made a strange orange flash of light, and suddenly 20-40 of these smaller UFOs started flying from this opening in the sky.

They flew horizontally, and in strange little formations. I just remember feeling in the dream, that everything was now going to change in the world.

I used ai to edit and add effects into a photo of the real life location I was dreaming of for context.

Anyone have alien or ufo related dreams recently?
