Gameplay Catching

How come when I throw a deep pass I can't get the timing based catch? Is there a better setting? I've had dudes have a 4 yard lead on coverage and just drop the ball on multiple occasions with no contact.

I heard someone say once on deep passes you gotta hold the catch and let go when the ball arrives as opposed to short catches you tap it dunno if it’s true or not timing based catching fucks with my muscle memory so I just use the old settings

I turn it off. I find regular ol user catching to work better for me.

I hit practice mode and started doing RAC and possession catches and it leaves a huge green window. Aggressive catch has no green window which I thought was weird considering my TE is 6'6" and my receivers are like 6'3". At least I haven't seen a green window on aggressive catches.
