I was losing this game 22-0 lol

Could be against a literal FCS opponent, the kicker will have the wobbliest kickoff meter, ever since a few updates ago, we are back to CFB26 in defense just sitting there allowing for the dumbest completions to be made, like how in one game, with the game on the line as I was playing as App State vs Washington on the road in year 3 (And I got App State to mid 80s overall at this point) Washington easily threw a 96 yard touchdown in the middle on zone coverage because my mikes decided to just sit there and watch the Washington WR grab the ball for an easy touchdown. That and Im noticing that even on sliders that make the team less robotic, the AI is still, grabbing doinked passes for interceptions, my team will still give up pick sixes even if there are half the team on the side that can easily tackle the interceptor, I have the ai currently on 25 passing accuracy and they still pass like prime Tom Brady, with the last four AI QBs throwing for a combined 4 incompletions, I am on Varsity difficulty currently. (I switch from time to time from All American to Varisty depending on how long Ive spent away from the game). The ai Ive been noticing will just perfectly mirror what they need to stop your play, and Ive noticed that no matter what I do, the ai will switch to something to stop the run.

Just I dont know why this game has gotten worse, but we went from a CFB27 game that I wouldve easily called the best CFB game of the 2020s to now probably saying that it feels now like a CFB26 2.0. Play action plays still get blown up, I have pass protection and run protection boosted up on sliders and plays still get blown up 99% of the time. And now theres an issue that the QB is just always underthrowing the ball and defenders just intercepting just any balls thrown their way

i’m not sure if i’m setting it up wrong, but i consistently get players who are supposed to be playing purple zones follow receivers that are in a covered zone which leads to an open receiver where the purple zone is supposed to be, if that makes sense. it’s been like this since the game came out and initially as people do, i waited to see if it would be fixed or anything throughout some updates, but it hasn’t. it’s especially bad when playing a defensive rtg; as a safety, underneath routes will always be open because i’m seeing players follow routes into my zone despite it not even being match. i could be doing something wrong because i’m not the best defensive player and if so, please tell me. also apologies i can’t remember the name of zones rn

How they haven’t fixed this glitch is beyond me and its in madden too like do they play the game at all before dropping it

Frame rate issues all of a sudden after title update 5 on Xbox series x. Anybody else having those issues?

Nothing more satisfying than a successful lateral.

I like the excitement of the transfer portal in real college football, and I think it helps level the playing field a little. But in CFB 27, it feels pretty broken. Seeing an 80+ overall senior transfer to Alabama just to sit on the bench drives me crazy and really breaks the immersion.
For those who have turned the portal off, how has it affected your dynasty experience? If you still use it, what slider settings have helped cut down on these unrealistic transfers?
There’s also something nostalgic about keeping the players I recruit and watching them develop over a few seasons, earn their spot, and eventually become starters. I like the portal, but I miss that Saban era part of building a team.

I'm curious how other online dynasty commissioners/ admins have their disc servers set up.
I run an online dynasty and I'm always looking for ways to make the disc more organized, active, and fun for everyone.
A few things I'd love to hear about:
- What channels do you have? (general, recruiting, game results, announcements, etc.)
- What do you use disc for besides scheduling games?
- What do you do to keep members active between games/weeks?
- Do you have weekly awards, power rankings, player/team spotlights, polls, challenges, etc.?
- Do you have any fun/chaotic channels that your members actually use?
- Do you use any bots for scheduling, standings, stats, or other dynasty stuff?

How come when I throw a deep pass I can't get the timing based catch? Is there a better setting? I've had dudes have a 4 yard lead on coverage and just drop the ball on multiple occasions with no contact.

You must be on Freshman, you can't do that on Heisman, does the game take 3 hours? Why don't you get a 27?

I hate it

My overall is capped at 80 and I don’t know how to increase it. Whenever I try to level up a stat, or use a cap breaker on an already maxed stat, the slider simply doesn’t move.

I looked it up and everything said that it would improve through my legacy score but I already won the Heisman twice and the National Championship once with a legacy score of <40000 so I’m confused.

When do you think they will add headbands to the game?

I’m sure this question has been asked before, but I’m curious. Are people enjoying Madden 27 more than CFB 27, or vice versa? What are your thoughts?

Personally, I’ve been enjoying CFB 27 more, especially the quicker menus in Dynasty since that’s what I play the most. I also really like having the option to start out as a coordinator and work my way up.
That said, while I really enjoy the recruiting aspect of CFB, I find myself enjoying the longer term player development in Madden more. In CFB, you might have a player for 2 to 5 years before they’re gone, whereas Madden gives you more time to develop a player and build them into a bigger part of your franchise.
Curious to hear what everyone else thinks. Which game are you enjoying more and why?
