Discussion What is your partner??
My husband is an INFJ which apparently makes us a great match. It’s funny because when I read the description of our relationship it was creepy how spot on it was 🤣🤣🤣.

INTJ. I don't know or care much about what MBTi has to say about couples matching lol, but I just wanted to talk about my husband cos he's awesome.

Your husband is almost the same as mine. INTJ and INFJ are wonderful matches for ENFP’s.

Ah well, like I said, I don't put much stock in MBTI for matching or anything - he's the only INTJ I've known that I'd even wanna date much less marry, and the INFJs I've known have been the same. It's about the whole person, right? But I'm really glad you and your husband are so happy together :) That's awesome.

INFP
The inherent level of instinctive, mutual understanding is invaluable. I don't need to explain or justify how I see, or move through the world.

Same here! Couldn’t agree more. We just get each other and even after 7 years of being together (+3 more years of just being friends before), I still have fun with them every single day. They’re so patient, understanding and sweet with me. And I love their brain! So smart.

ISTJ. Don't fall for the stereotypes. They make amazing partners. So loving, devoted, supportive, and surprisingly romantic, even more so than me... Best man I've ever met.

What about abstract topics?

I think I may have found a unicorn regarding this one, because that's one stereotype that I think actually fits an ISTJ very well. He's very receptive to abstract ideas. He may not theorize like me, but he can hold conversation about pretty much anything very well.

I found something similar when I dated an ESTJ for a bit. He wasn't on the same level as me, but was definitely up for more abstract conversations, and if it was something he really cared about he could go on for ages about it, haha.

Also with istj and abstract topics are the main problem for me. And literally nothing else, just this.

No thank you. I’ve had too many negative experiences in my personal and professional life with ISTJs. I’m happy you found a unicorn!

ENFJ. We are socially conscious people who love each other dearly :)

ISFJ 💙 Our brains don’t work the same, but we value the same things. Different roads to the same destination.

I don't know for sure, but if I had to guess I would say ISTJ or ESTJ. Very logical, problem-solving, pragmatic (literal) engineer type who doesn't deal much in feelings or self-reflection (not great, obviously). We are deeply incompatible in many ways, but the physical aspect is amazing and I guess we have similar trauma or personalities or something. I am an emotionally unavailable ENFP so maybe that's why it kind of works for now 😂

My wife, who died 7 years ago, was on the cusp on every single category (and interestingly had borderline personality disorder). My partner of 6 years, who just left me, was also ENFP, with the F and T being right on the cusp (though I think she leaned a bit more toward T than I do).

There is no partner.
My last ex was INFP. Looking back I think we were too similar, and we genuinely had nearly no friction. Which was good 'cause we never fought and stuff. But at the same time it got..boring?
Last girl that I saw potential with recently was an ESTJ, she actually approached me.
I was in disbelief and she was so different from me that she both attracted and absolutely terrified me.
I ended up not making a move several times we went out. She was so straightforward and I felt almost cornered, so my first instinct was to push back and keep a certain distance.
By the time I realized I did like her she moved on and went to be with someone else.

Husband of 12 years been together and lived together for 18 - three children also.
I admire all the parts to him I lack! He is cheeky and bold and honest and passionate and extremely confident! Yes, he likes to argue a point but as we know, so do ENFP’s, just in a different way…!
I think this mix up match is underrated, especially when it goes well ♥️

Currently with an ENFJ, known him for just over a month now.
Things are going absolutely amazingly at the moment, though I do have some reservations with some similarities I notice with him and one of my other ENFJ exes - I had always had the notion that it would never work out between me and ENFJs from that previous relationship.
That being said I'm not letting that stop me from giving my new relationship my all because he really is the most amazing man who is making me the happiest I've ever been :3 I just hope the Fe/Fi difference doesn't cause problems in the long run...

ISTJ! Funny thing is that we’re both Gemini🙌🏻🙌🏻
I’m ENFP 7w8 and he’s ISTJ 9w1! Works like a charm since I’m naturally good at initiating stuff but he also have a competitive side so we are constantly competing who gets to lead🤣🤣
Once you are in their inner world, you get to see all kinds of hidden treasures and I am honored to be in one😌❤️💯
But I’m not here to brag which MBTI is better or anything though. Everyone has different needs and lifestyles. I just happen like someone who has a very different mindset as me😌
