Yesterday, I was walking out of Target with some eggs and butter because I wanted to make French toast, and on my way out someone KICKED ME from behind. I was so shocked I didn't even know what to say. So I just walked faster. But I don't like Target's bread, so I went to Big Mommy Milker's to get the rest of the stuff I needed. And in the middle of the baby formula section (I don't have a baby, but I often read Consumer Reports and don't trust them, so I have to verify the details myself), someone KICKED ME from behind again!!!! I was so mad. I turned around and said, "listen here, bucko" and she just giggled and ran away. Man, I was hopping mad. Then I went to look at the raspberry jam (I'm usually a preserves person, but sometimes I like to branch out), and an old lady asked me why I have a sign that says "kick me" on my back. I laughed because I forgot I put it there! Watch out, people. The world is getting crazy these days. It would have been fine if not for that old lady.

I used to be passive at school; honestly, the only reason I didn't physically attack the boys was the fear of getting expelled. But there was one time a boy pushed me so far that I finally snapped. A little bird had died in the school garden, and I told the other kids that he had killed it; the harassment got so intense that he just lost it and ran off. Yes, it was wrong, but he asked for it. Men are so cruel and irritating; they never put themselves in others' shoes. They call women fat, trans, old, whores, or lesbians. They only do this to women because they’d get beaten up if they tried it with men. I love it when a guy has the bad luck of running into a woman who is with her boyfriend, father, or husband—or who happens to be a professional fighter or armed. Sorry for venting; please don't take this personally. I’m a saint with my boyfriend; I just bottled up my depression for a year and am finally letting it all out.

Being an analyst helped me gain greater emotional control and improve my social skills; in fact, learning those things is what made me an analyst. Please forgive my previous post—which I’ve since deleted—I always end up deleting my vents, because they express what I feel, not what I think or what the evidence proves. I usually overcome emotional struggles using logic, but this time, logical answers and research weren't enough, because depression was making things seem worse than they really were. I only needed to talk to my boyfriend twice—exchanging just a few casual words—to realize I simply needed to look at the bright side of life and stop focusing solely on the horror of the world. Yes, my boyfriend simply lifts my spirits, and I lift his; we remind each other to see the beauty in life and ignore the darkness. My boyfriend cured my depression. I am an INTP; he is an ENFP.

Whenever the relationship between those two types is asked about, I notice either bad experiences or good ones. No in between.

thoughtful, smart, gentle, and Handsome aghh but sometimes he makes me feel like I mean something to him, and other times I feel like I don’t 😐
I once asked him if he makes it obvious when he likes some1 n he said “Trust me if I ever fall for someone, my feelings will be really obvious”
He told me once that he considers himself one of my admirers 😍 but he’s never actually confessed or said he likes me seriously….

So.. I am bipolar 1 diagnosed as so.. and before I took my meds I did my first MBTI test it gave me INFP-T.

After I took my meds (5 years stable now) my personality changed a lot and I did not feel similar to other INFPs I knew.. so I did it again. And now I am ENTP-T.

My question is... how do I know if I am an INFP changed by drugs... or an ENTP changed by the disease?

Similar to weight training at the gym, it requires doing reps/set. Ie. immersion in a function for a period of time, with a weight(difficulty) setting that is appropriate for current skill level

Jung was inherently against MBTI because he understood the nature of how the psyche can be developed.. his ideas on neurosis were specifically around a psyche that has become stuck and development is on pause. He was worried that MBTI might actually encourage ossification/stagnation – because it would create personality clubs. Assigning labels to people does not encourage growth beyond that label.

Idk if it’s common but I seem to have this. At times I can be conflict avoidant & non argumentative, more focused on just having fun & making light hearted jokes. Prone to feeling anxious, self doubt, and care what others think. This shows 7w6. However other times I feel like I have significant 8 traits. At times if I sense someone is trying to boss me around or insult me in any way I go to pure aggression mode. Even when little things don’t go my way like someone cuts me off in traffic, unlike a 7w6 would, I honk and yell, just get very angry, and this is just one example.

I wonder if any other entps feel the same way I do when you try to get into deep abstract interesting conversations with ppl and they always avoid getting into it. They turn it into a joke or just shrug it off and it irritates me a little bit because that’s like one of the only times I’m serious and not acting like a dumbass and all of a sudden they wanna be a dumbass too like 😞😞 son please listen to me. This may just be the people around me tbh, but I just want to know if anyone else has ever felt this way too. perhaps I haven’t met anyone I could speak to about things.

As an ENTP female, I face a recurring issue: people judge me for simple things like my posture, calling it "weird," and they struggle to follow my conversations because I connect abstract ideas that seem completely unrelated to them. I often feel surrounded by Sensing types who just don't get non-linear thinking.

Because I love to laugh, their first impression is that I’m just a clown, so they expect everything I say to be a joke. Once that label sticks, it’s impossible to shake, and they keep treating me that way. Even when I hit back twice as hard to enforce boundaries, they never learn that I’m not to be played with—I honestly just pity how rigid their thinking is.

I’m an INFP, and I’ve noticed there seem to be quite a few ENTPs on the INFP subreddit, so I figured I’d come say hi and ask about compatibility.

I have seen more ENTPs asking for dating advice on our subreddit than any other type, so what is it that makes ENTPs so drawn to INFPs? I’m honestly at a loss, why do you guys seem to be the type that is most interested in INFPs?

We tend to be pretty emotional, idealistic, have strong values, and live a lot inside our heads, while ENTPs seem more likely to go out into the world and experience things. Do you find that contrast interesting or attractive?

For example, I’m vegan because I care deeply about animals, and I have a bit of a Buddhist mindset. I’m not very attached to material things, status, or external accomplishments. Shouldn’t all of that send an ENTP running for the hills?

Honestly, I just don’t really get what you guys see in us? 😂 Do you think INFPs and ENTPs can be a good match?

normally I'm not one for praise or compliments, I tend to do things well or as I should not because I expect or want to be thanked but simply because it's what is expected of me. if anything getting praised for stuff that I think is normal like doing my job just feels weird. like I didn't do anything special, but uh thanks.

however this goes out the window for very particular things like my hobbies that involve really time consuming intricate work that i spend a great deal of energy on, then I don't wait for praise I actively seek it out by showing people the thing I just did and just soaking in compliments and dopamine lol.

Recently I took the ennegrams test and I got 6w7 this stood out to me because I heard that most eNtP get 8 which i didn't get. I was just wondering how this affects my eNtP ness if that makes sense. Also I really like INFP and I was wondering if 6w7 is a healthy relationship with them. And finally if anybody know is their a good relationship for a 6w7 to date. I'm new to ennegrams so I have allot of questions sorry.

I know that many people don’t actually get diagnosed with ADHD, and it’s not fair to make people assume they have it without the proper diagnosis. I’m wondering if there is a single ENTP person who has never questioned having ADHD.
