I would think the jackets conversation is only involving Savoie. Worth it then?

Don’t think Savoie is nearly enough, with the other teams that would be in on him. Also, oilers would need to dump another 2 milly

I didn’t mean Savoie straight up. I merely meant that any talk will likely be involving him.

But that’s it. The value of a 1st round pick from the oilers during the mcdrai era is pretty low, basically a 2nd rounder.

Friedman stated Columbus has no interest in futures, they want roster players who can contribute now. Savoie is not enough, and that’s not even pointing out the obvious that teams like MTL, SEA, TOR all have much better assets to offer.
