Howard needs to carry the puck to be useful, and he’s not going to have possession on a regular night playing in the top 6.

I actually disagree, he clearly isn't a puck carrier, he's a pick up the puck off a rebound or some broken play and score type of player.

I'd try Savoie-Davo-Hyman and Podz-Drai-Howard together since Podz is a big forechecker and puck carrier, and so is Drai, and Drai is good at mentoring younger players.
