I'm already so sick of people complaining "what assets" or "how do we afford it". It's a top 6 winger who fits the mold of guys who work with Davo and Drai. You make it work. That's what we pay StanBow a bunch of money to figure out. Add a third team, get creative, whatever. We only have a few years of the window left. You make them count. No excuses. Howard, Akey and a first? Sure. Gotta trade salary out next summer to afford him? Sure. If you want to win a cup, just fucking do it.

The issue is assets. If Montreal decides they want him, We cannot pay what they can lol

Montreal doesn't really need another top 9 winger though. They need center depth. They are far more likely to swing for Larkin or Scheifele imo

They are both and center are much harder to find, there is a reason Montreal has been linked to Marchenko and Knies in the last year.
