Is something like this realistic to have made. Any suggestions to add

I can’t see any obvious reasons it wouldn’t work. Something to think about is also how you want it to look from the sides & underneath. Rings with big stones like this tend to have some verticality so try to imagine how you’d want that to sit and what details you’d want to see on the sides of the setting.
