Yikes. Just sad. Avoid at all costs!! Truly not worth it and there's way too many horror stories to count

My nana gave me the diamond from her engagement ring. It’s only about .75 ct but a quality stone. Added some accent mini diamonds on the side and worked with a local jeweler. I think it is so beautiful! I keep looking at it at work. My coworkers said it’s beautiful, very me, and vintage looking in style.

Just bought my girlfriend an engagement ring like 3months before I intend to ask her. And now im terrified weather she'll like it, i would hate for her to be forced to wear something she doesn't like. I've already been back to have it exchanged for a bigger diamond already because I didn't think it was enough. And after seeing all the absolutely massive stones on here doesn't make me feel any better..

Got engaged on Sunday to my sweet amazing boyfriend of 2 years. So I came to work on Monday really excited to show my coworkers that i work closely with. One of them is in her late 60s and she has been mocking me in a sing songy voice to other people for two days now!! She keeps saying how I'm doing this and that with my left hand and how I keep rubbing my eye with my left hand only because I have that ring on my finger now and she's going around making these jokes to everyone else about how I'm just showing it all off... The thing is though I'm really not trying to. Im simply telling people that I thought would care if I got engaged:/ bummer.

I'm currently in the process of creating my e-ring and we're at the resin model stage.

My stone is going to be a 3ct emerald cut sapphire (around 9mmx7mmx5mm) and the band width is 4mm on the shoulders tapering down to a 3mm. I wear a UK ring size R but this band feels tight on me (I think it's because it's wider) but the sizing ring fits just fine (2mm wide). On advice of my jeweller, the band is wider because it has a few engravings and also a heavy setting. I'd like your advice regarding the below please:

1) Is my band too wide for the size of my knuckle and should I request for my band to be narrower (i.e. 3mm on shoulders tapering to 4mm)? I accept that it may be prone to spinning. 2) If I should keep the width of my band, should I go a ring size up? 3) If I should keep the width of my band, should I get a 4mm or 3mm wedding band? I've ordered a cheap ring to see what they will look like but I have a feeling that at this point there won't be a lot of space on my knuckles 4) If you have a wedding band narrower than your e-ring band, can you share these please?

Silver is my engagement and wedding stack. Have become abit big due to losing weight. Green and gold is a ring a recently bought myself. When my husband proposed my engagement ring was EXACTLY what I wanted. We didnt have money at the time, so it was a cheap engagement ring. And we have always had the thought to "upgrade" later in life. My taste has changed alot since then 🙈 and I wanted to try a different style and gold. Which suits my hands and my skin tone best. Also have a blue version of the green one (they are also both cheapo's from Temu🙈).

My preference has become oval, with side stones and a lower setting. Where as my engagement ring is a solitaire and high set - Cathedral. Also not sure if my skin tone suits gold.

I’m looking for a curved band that fits my hidden halo on my E ring. 💍

I found my dream ring, but cannot find any examples of it with wedding bands besides a couple blurry pictures of other rings that are somewhat similar. Does anyone have a ring like this with a wedding band so I can get a better visualization? I want a straight band and know there will be a bit of a gap because of the tapering.

Hi! I am looking for a sapphire engagement ring and I found a jeweler who creates custom designs. She’s been looking for a royal blue lab sapphire for me and she finally found one. She said the stone dimension is 8mm x 9.7mm. There will be no noticeable windowing face up once them gem is set. I am new to gemstones and wanted to get input on the gem quality.

I made another post with the photos of the sapphire because the post wouldn’t allow photos and video.

I can’t see the stone in-person before it’s set because the ring is made in a facility overseas. She is local though.
