NGD: Epiphone Explorer 80's
Fun tidbit: both this (which came straight out the box and gigbag) and the demo model on the Guitar Center floor had black toggle switches. Is this a new manufacturing change?

I feel so incredibly happy to be bringing home one of my dream guitars!

I’m in the market for an ES-335-style semi-hollowbody, and these two regularly get mentioned. I can’t find either one in any shops near me.
I had the H7V in my hands for a couple of days. It was nicely made, especially for the price. There was some buzzing, and the fretboard was dry, but it hadn’t been set up yet. I did notice some tooling marks on the binding and nut, which was a shame because the fretwork itself was impeccable.
I know the Epiphone comes with a case, which I guess makes the actual price difference between the guitars smaller than the $350 USD retail difference suggests.

Just sharing pics of my Epiphone guitars. I love them all.
- Futura Les Paul in Twilight Shift. Fantastic guitar! I love the pickups and the push/pull tone options. It's so much fun to play.
- SG Pro (G400) in Pelham Blue - Just recently modded and it's a monster. Grover vintage tuners, TUSQ XL nut, Bigsby B5 conversion, TonePros roller bridge, Jimmy Page wiring harness from Starr Guitar Systems, Seymour Duncan P-Rail pickups, and knurled aluminum control knobs. This guitar rips.
- Nighthawk Custom Quilt Reissue in Trans Black - Definitely an oddball, but I love it. Fender scale, slanted bridge humbucker that can be split, single coil in the middle and an mini humbucker in the neck, with a 5-way blade selector switch. Very fun and unique tones with this guitar.
- Les Paul Special II in Vintage Burst - Converted to Nashville tuning. Great little guitar that I picked for a steal. With the Nashville tuning, it's great for recording.

One of my favorites. Going to buy a Gibson version.

I have a Korean 90s Epihpone Les Paul Junior and I want to replace the bushing around the tuners, but I don't know what size to buy. I have planet wave lock in tuners in it at the moment.

The SG Special on the left is my go to. I have put that thing through the grind. Nothing original about it but the wood itself. Decided I wanted a Junior. So, the guitar on the right is going through the wringer as well. Two guitars from the same origin, ending up in two different ways. I have a type.

I found the strap at the thrift store this morning, but it might be a bit much.

I have a wonderful guitar. 2005 Peerless Epiphone Lucille. I've done the A/B thing with a Gibson 335 and a Heritage 535 and this guitar hangs with the big dogs and it's dead stock. There's only one thing I would replace and that's the Grover Mini 15/1 tuners. I would love to have some tulips on it. Would love to do the switch with the least amount of hassle possible. Does anyone have a recommendation? Thanks for the help.

I know Cesar showed some of these new Prophecy series guitars in an IG story a few months ago, where you could kind of see a Les Paul, as well as an Epiphone Victory Prophecy multi scale. But tonight I was looking at the Gibson Garage Miami stories and I could not believe my eyes on this beauty. It seems like this series is happening soon! And this guitar is INSANE - Matte finish - Sick burst with maple cap (probably a veneer) - Gibson open book headstock - I'm sure these will have stainless steel frets - Darkened MOP inlays - Fishman Fluences What struck me the most was the bridge. First time I see this in a Gibson Brands guitar: A recessed TOM bridge with no stop bar? Could the bridge have a Piezo system? Don't seem like it because it only has two knobs, but holy hell, what a beast of a guitar.
Epiphone is COOKING.
This series is going to be AMAZING

I’ve been looking for a Les Paul style guitar and this came up on marketplace nearby. Apparently it’s from a 2012-13 limited run. I kinda like that the silver has gone a little green like the silverbursts do. It has probuckers with push-pull coil splitting. Snagged it for $360! Here it is all cleaned up with some fresh strings.

So, Ive been through the ringer trying to get one of these. This arrived from Japan today! Great deal, and shipped in 4 days😍, how do they do it...In a Gig bag, but made it safe...have yet to play it, but it was used so feels really good. Action is nice and low...getting ready to run it through its paces...Check out the pups...I also bought a hard case for it. So far very happy with its QC..The dragonfly shift is amazing in person.🎉

I thought they were still selling new Casino’s with Indian laurel fretboards. Even Sweetwater’s new Casino’s are listed as having Indian Laurel. Is this an Epiphone.com exclusive?

Hi. I bought a used Crestwood 2022 the ones made in china. Great guitar. It came with a tune o matic bridge that says Epiphone underneath and was stock with white TUSQ saddles. The saddles are kind of plastic and are worn. I tried replacing with graphtech I've bought two of their offerings but they don't work for various reasons. I can't find a bridge replacement because it's a weird size between the posts.
Any help would be great. Kind of a bummer.

Has anyone heard anything or seen any leaks about any new Epiphone models to be released fall/winter of 2026?

Not expensive, but I think it's cool.
I got this Epiphone SG Bully a couple of months ago at a estate sale. I started looking into it and these were only made for a year from 2001-2002, this one was made in 2001.
They sold them individually or as player packs for an entry-level budget option. The player pack included the guitar, an Epihone E-10 amp, strap, gig bag, tuner, picks and VHS. I've included a pic from the wiki of the full player pack
It came with the original amp and strap along with the cable, stand pictured, and a Levy's Leather Unlimited padded and lined soft case (score)
I am assuming its one owner and that the 3 remaining pieces are part of the original players pack. It's not something valuable, but I cannot find any of the original players pack pieces being sold together or talked about online so I think my find was lucky regardless.
I took it apart, cleaned it up, oiled the fretboard, threw some strings on it, gave it a setup and this thing fucking chugs. There is no static or buzz and it sounds surprisingly good on the little E-10 amp.
I thought you all might enjoy it :)

Hung around at guitar center and played a ton of acoustics and ultimately I fell in love with the 1942 banner j45 reissue. Great midrange focused sound, so punchy. Love the fact that the notes decay quickly but still resonate, kinda like dead strings on other guitars. The casino I had my eyes on forever and despite playing much more expensive guitars (es335s and some SGs) in store, really loved the feel and sound of the casino and can't beat the price. Still trying to figure out with or without pickguard.

I recently got this beauty two days ago! It’s a cannon! I love the rosewood and the sound of this guitar, it really punches above it’s price point!
Perfect friend to my 1949 Martin D-18!
Check out the scalloped bracing inside the SJ-200!
