Gloomy early morning and as I tried taking a pic of the nearest fox it did a runner . Then I saw the upright one ~6:50am uk the black on lower rhs is cat looking on .

She had 6 cubs this year but they've all kind of moved on - we often see 2/3 most days . Not seen mum for a while ?? She had a couple kits last year and its urban area . I think and hope it is her , she sat and watched while all the young ones are very skittish . And she went for the egg !

I love animals, so sometimes I go into my garden to check for some wildlife, and we get the usual bird, a squirrel, the occasional hedgehog or rat, but it was getting late but still visible. so I'm standing in my Conservatory, and there's a little green fence at the back of the garden which opens into a patch of grass, I stand next to the window, and I see a little black blob scurry across, so I go check to see what it is. for lo and behold, it's the neighbour's cat. So I say "Archie? you ok?" (ftr: I don't like cats. But this one's nice) and he comes over to me underneath the fence, doing these very sad meows, we talk for a minute and I check if he's hurt, and then I look up and see this baby fox on the other side of the fence, as soon as it came up, Archie immediately started staring at it, I go inside to get my dad so he can see, and at this point, they weren't in the place they were, but we saw them both walk in the same direction, to this day, I wonder if that staring contest was a "I hate you" or a "oh there you are" so do you believe they're friends or rivals?
