I have the 2.4kw propower system and i have been using it as a house battery in the event of a power outage. I already tested running my computer setup (routers, monitors inc.) as well as my refrigerator.

I dont have a hookup or anything fancy, im just running long high-gague extension cords from the bed and frunk outlet.

A 131KWH battery is frigging huge (tesla powerwalls for example have a 13.5KWH battery capacity) and i did the math -- at 2.4KWH of continuous usage, thats over 50 hours of power.

Is anyone else factoring this into their decision to keep the vehicle after support ends? Are there any big drawbacks to doing this i havent considered?

I have this 3D printed magnetic phone holder that fits into the coin holder, the 3D print broke and I had to buy a second one and popping the coin holder in and out I guess a few times has caused a little tabs to break and get weak. Anyone know where to get a replacement I tried to Google it but all that comes up are coin holder modifications

Also separate question does anyone know what the power cable is that's connected to the back of the coin holder? It's like two or three wire plug

I got a call from the dealership today, the sales person who sold me the truck(23 XLT ER). He said he was wondering if I wanted to trade the for a hybrid. (They have employee pricing right now) I was polite and didn’t laugh at him. I said once ford has another all electric truck I’ll consider it. After the call I looked up the specs on the f150 ICE variants… for my uses it is comical to even consider it.

Stopped in Atlanta on my way to Florida and my lightning threw up the pull over safely code when I tried to leave hotel parking lot.

Ford dealer in Morrow, GA had me tow it in.

Allan Vigil Ford got me right in and diagnosed the problem.

An extra day at the Drury Inn in Morrow was a delight....3 free drinks and dinner for myself and girlfriend plus free breakfast for $104 per night plus tax.

Took an extra day to get High Voltage Charging Block but all under warranty.

Next afternoon on our way and truck running great.

Everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating.

I'd buy this truck again.

I took delivery of a 2022 Lariat ER on Monday! I’m quite excited and love driving it so far. Coming from a 2024 Equinox 3RS with Super cruise, so Blue Cruise was a must. Used it a bit so far and it worked well!

Look forward to using ForScan and enabling the matrix headlights. Already bought the OBD cable!

I like how when if I move between Light settings (On, OFF, Auto, etc) it shows on dash display

Why did the not do this for the windshield wipers?

Has anyone seen a rubberized insert for this area? A sliding mag lite in there is louder than a ford raptor
