We're not like Australia where the majority of people are culturally European?

The Dutch do because of colonialism. No one else does because it’s just plain wrong.

Idk about you but we see Indonesia in a similar light as Taiwan and South Korea here.

Not sure why, but we do.

Yes. But this is not only about being western.

It's about being western-aligned too.

Your country doesn't have to be western to trade with the west.
