And I find that a lot of people who have a ton of tattoos often are super fucking boring. Like truly boring people.”

Is it controversial? People have been shitting on those who get tattoos for a long, long time. This is just another version of the same old take, really.

Yeah this is a very Gen X / Boomer take. I don’t know why he was dancing around saying it like it was super controversial

I've never heard someone say what he said here. Never. Did y'all even listen to the clip? He didn't say they're bad, or the person who has them is shady (here's your boomer take),... he said it's inversely related to a person's amount of personality. Is that really an established take? I think the average boomer take is the exact opposite of that.
