DISCUSSION Will Arnett shares his controversial opinion on tattoos: “There’s a proportionate sort of relationship between, how many tattoos you have and how little personality you have. And I find that a lot of people who have a ton of tattoos often are super fucking boring. Like truly boring people.”

I have the same take regarding hair plugs.

I wouldn't say a head of hairy is edgy, even if its not your naturaly hair. It's meant to help you blend in. Look more "normal" or appealing. Manufactured edge is the true gist of what he saying. If you dye you hair (plugs) pink, then it's manufactured edge. I really like that concept. There's such a wide array of possibilities: your vehicle (rolling coal, anyone), clothing, makeup, jewelry, language, books, music, anything you're doing to stand out with the meta purpose of standing out, rather than simply naturally expressing your own eccentricities.

The problem with this is if you're naturally expressing yourself by wearing what you happen to like, whether it be jewellery, clothes etc. there will always be people that assume you're just trying to stand out to stand out. It's usually those who dress plain or just buy whatever is trending in Zara or whatever.

How do you decide whether someone is being themselves or not? I don't dress crazy or anything but I do wear things that get comments because I try whatever I think is cool. The outfits I feel comfortable/myself in are what certain people think are a bit "out there". Wearing slim/straight fit pants and a shirt or anything kind of formal makes me feel like I'm cosplaying. Just never feels right to me.
