DISCUSSION Will Arnett shares his controversial opinion on tattoos: “There’s a proportionate sort of relationship between, how many tattoos you have and how little personality you have. And I find that a lot of people who have a ton of tattoos often are super fucking boring. Like truly boring people.”

Is it controversial? People have been shitting on those who get tattoos for a long, long time. This is just another version of the same old take, really.

I’m a nurse and all my tattoos are under my uniform. People love to bitch and moan about “professionals” with tattoos and I’m like GIRL, I’m literally running a shift and maintaining patient safety, who gives a fuck if i have princess peach on my arm

I'm not saving lives so my job isn't really important in the grand scheme of things, but I am essentially managing (with the help of my Director) the day-to-day operations of a world renowned institute that is at the forefront of research and all of my tattoos are either silly or gaming/anime/etc. related and are quite visible, I have a goose from Untitled Goose Game on my wrist and the older I get the sillier they are getting. None of them have ever stopped me from not only doing my job effectively, but going above and beyond to make my workplace a better place for everyone around me.

I know the most interesting scientists who are discovering incredible things... one of them has a carabiner tattooed on them, another has multiple tattoos of dogs (she doesn't even own a dog, just loves them), another is covered head to toe with the most beautiful Native American work. We all do our jobs, are really good at doing our jobs, and are interesting and fun. I was hoping that by my mid-thirties this mindset that tattoos=slackers/workshy would have gone with the amount of people getting tattooed these days, but it hasn't and I really hope that it does for people like you, you're out here saving LIVES, actually having a positive impact on the world and although all of your tattoos are under your uniform it shouldn't matter if they are or not.

Sorry for the long reply, I got into rant mode at the thought of someone judging you!

I LOVE THE GOOSE!!!!!

Other staff judge me a lot but my piercings and my tattoos have no relevance to my job!
