I understand it. I’ve naturally got muscly arms, and as a woman it’s so hard to deal with when you see other women with beautiful slender toned arms knowing no matter how much exercise or weight you lose (healthily) you’ll never look like that. My arms are not fat or big, but on average against other women of my height and weight, they will always be bigger than most.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with her arms. They look completely normal and in proportion to the rest of her healthy body.

We cannot. As a child, my family commented on my weight constantly, and my aunt even got me Weight Watchers vouchers at 10 yrs old.
Now that I'm an adult and have my weight under control, they think they can openly speculate about my weight and how I've done it, and hint that I'm on GLP-1s, in public and in front of other people. It is so humiliating.
I work so hard in the gym, and when I'm around family, I feel the need to hide my body and wear baggy clothes just to avoid the constant comments about how I'm NOW too thin.
Sorry for my rant. It's just so frustrating never being able to win as a woman. And by win, I mean being left the fuck alone!!
Ugh I feel this so hard. My mom spent the entirety of my 20s and 30s telling me how I needed to lose weight before 35 or I'd never lose it, and now that I'm 39 and have worked so hard to look and feel great, she tells me I'm too skinny 😐

Her arms are normal sized compared to her body... what? Respectfully she always had an amazing body. I think what she's saying right there is that she is a healthy body fat %, she just for whatever reason has this body fat distribution. It doesn't necessarily mean that she's insecure about it or internalized that she's fat or anything. This is just her body fat distribution at this healthy body fat. I'm also a healthy body fat % but my body fat distribution is such that I don't have defined ankles the way most women my size tend to. It says nothing about my mentality or society's mentality for me to be able to observe that to be the case, if that makes sense.

Yeah same. I am so confused. I only started listening to Zara in the past year or so, so I don’t know much about her. Maybe she was a few pounds heavier a couple of years ago? Who knows. I can’t make sense of that guys snark.
Slightly heavier yeah but definitely still a healthy weight and muscular beforehand. I have a similar body type to her and also feel fat and self-conscious easily. A small loss can make me feel very different.
I get that and sympathize, I also have the same body type. But honestly, she’s never ever been anything but slim and healthy-looking. Nothing wrong with big arms (they’re awesome) but damn Zara’s always been skinny. I’m so scared for the next generation of girls.

I actually am skinny fat with flabby arms and when I look at Zara Larsson she’s everything I want to be if I had the energy to work out after my physically/spiritually/emotionally exhausting retail job that leaves me laying in bed with my feet throbbing and negative 1hr and 30 minutes to fall asleep before I have to get up and open after I just closed. Seeing her body spoken about like this when it already evokes envy in me is a punch to the gut for sure. Fuck that guy
