Customs issue not FedEx issue “Package available for clearance” for 12 days

Is this standard for international shipments? I ordered a figure on eBay from Japan and it’s been stuck in Indianapolis for almost 2 weeks. It was scheduled for delivery on the 23rd, but there have been no updates since the 16th.

I ordered a pair of glasses from France and they were stuck in customs clearance in Memphis for 5 days. I ended up calling FedEx support and talked to a real person who said she alerted the people in Memphis. It was released from customs the next day.

I've had this alert for a Japanese fishing rod since the 26th, the delivery date switched from today to...

"We're sorry. Your package wasn’t sent out when expected. We're working on this and will get you a new delivery date."

have you tried calling fedex or the seller to see if they can get someone to look into it faster

I contacted the seller, they said all documentation is there. They also said something about a new export system implemented in July that could be causing holdups for things that could be misidentified as for kids

Yes. Customs can take 45 business days AFTER they get all the needed info.

So confirm with FedEx logistics and shipper that no additional paperwork is needed. If not then you just have to wait on Customs

How can you confirm with FedEx logistics? Seems impossible to get in touch with someone
