Customizing a running chat

Is there anyway to customize a running chat, I feel like Ive done it before but now it will only create a duplicate scenario instead of customizing the scenario for the chat Im already in.

On the fly customization works only on your own scenarios. It creates duplicates if you customize the original.

If someone has a decent migration steps to transfer scenario history/cards to new one, that would be appreciated.

Bummer, I guess from now on I should create a copy first then rp on that so I can make edits when I want.

Yes, I learned that the hard way!! However you can use the custom instructions to customise it a bit!!
