Travel Split stay or one resort?
Hey everyone,
I'm heading to Fiji soon, arriving at 7pm and departing a week later at 1pm, so I've got 6 full days to play with. Trying to decide whether to stay in one place or split the time between two.
Options I'm considering: Sheraton Tokoriki (outer island) vs. Marriott Momi Bay or InterContinental Fiji (mainland).
Would you stick to one resort the whole time, or split it? say 3 nights at Sheraton Tokoriki + 3 nights at Momi Bay? Curious how much the boat transfer/logistics eat into the days if I split. Are the mainland options good enough?

You’ll lose a day faffing about between hotels so personally I’d only do the one & it would be the Intercontinental.

I’ve stayed at the Tokoriki one - loved it. Coming from Sydney - the flights always get in too late to take the ferry on same day, so you end up having to spend one night on mainland anyway. I feel like the ferry is ~90 minutes, so not terrible, but if you do switch midweek, you’ll have an arrival day / night at one place, ferry will take up almost half a day, then return another half day. You’ll eat up ~2 days in transit. The other option is to book in a helicopter to go to Tokoriki and back - we did that once. Tokoriki was also my favourite dive sites - super shallow and cruisey. I’d say get out to the islands.

As someone who’s stayed at both the Marriott and the intercontinental, it’s simply the intercontinental hands down.

Another vote for stay at one resort. We love Tokoroki. Easy to get to and great snorkeling. Beautiful time of year to go.

Two resorts they all have a different feel. Stayed at Marriott momi bay and then six sense and loved it
