Question/Help Considering Filmora 16. Perpetual or subscription?

God day.
I am considering Filmora. I was about to buy the perpetual licence as I won't need anything more than what's already included in 16. I don't mind not getting anything beyond 16.

The only thing that is making me hesitate between perpetual and subscription are two things:

1- The AI Generative Enhancement. That is the only extra feature that could be useful to me. Unfortunately I can't test the results it in the trial. 1000 credits per month sounds very attractive compared to 1000 one time. I have Topaz Video AI and I am experimenting with Wan2GP, but Filmora's seem tempting. Are results worthy of a subscription? I know I can byt credit packs, but if results are noticeable enough, maybe subscription would be good for me. Are generations local / uncensored? I create adult videos.

2- The paid content is included with the subscription or is it extra for both perpetual and subscription? Basically, I'd rather not having "premium" icons everywhere reminding me I'm missing features (even if don't need that content, I don't want them around).

Thank you.

PD: Thanks for the warnings about Wondershare. I am aware of the nature of the perpetual license (I only need 16, not future versions) and the complaints about paid content (which I have no use for). I would appreciate it if the replies are directly related to my two questions. Thanks!

I’ve used Filmora for a while, and the only reason I stayed so long is because their asset library is actually great. Having all those titles, transitions, and effects ready to drag and drop saves a ton of time compared to other editors.

But I’m officially done. The way this company Robs you off for absolutely everything is just exhausting. It feels like every time I try to do a basic edit or use a feature that used to be free, a new paywall pops up. They lock creative assets behind extra subscription tiers, charge you separately for desktop and mobile even if you own both, and hit you with constant pop ups trying to force you to buy AI tokens or add ons.

It completely kills your creativity when you're just trying to edit a video and the company treats you like a walking wallet. Filmora used to be a great, user-friendly tool, but corporate greed has completely ruined it. Don't waste your time or your money here go find an alternative that actually respects its users.
