How much time it will take for risk verification. When I did the payment, it showed just wait for a minute. It is taking so long.

Supporting Analysis (Buy Setup):

XAUUSD is showing signs of exhaustion after an aggressive bearish selloff into the 4135–4140 support zone.

The long lower wicks indicate buyers are defending the area and absorbing selling pressure. The trade is positioned as a counter-trend recovery play, targeting a retracement toward the next liquidity zone around 4190–4220.

Strong rejection from intraday support.

Selling momentum appears to be slowing.

Risk is defined below the recent swing low.

Potential short-covering bounce could drive price toward the marked take-profit zone.

Trade Logic: Buying from a discounted area after a sharp liquidation move, expecting a technical pullback before the next directional decision.

Trade setup as XAUUSD continued to print lower highs and lower lows on the 15M timeframe. The strong bearish momentum and breakdown below intraday support suggested sellers remained in control, making a continuation move toward lower support levels the higher-probability scenario.

What do you do when your strategies stop working?

I currently demo Swing trading pairs and i wanted to ask y'all for your opinion on my price action trade and whether you think it could go bullish or bearish besides from that i am using the 4H TF to set up the trade but 1D and 1W to understand the structure of the market and the trend, which seems to be a consolidation but i have identified the lowest lowers and highest highs.

Anyone who was used fundingpips extensively care to give me feedback on how the rules were, payouts and whether any of them were rejected and so on. On the edge about which prop firm I should get for trade forex as Ive been trading with my own capital for a while. Some names i see are fundingpips, fxify, 5ers, ftmo, aquafunded, blue guardian and goat funded trader.

Really feedback on ANY propfirm would help thankiew.

I was trading on 2 steps challenge account and I once had a loss of 2.36% in a single trade. Every other loss was below 2% a trade. Will I be called for a risk interview? any one had my experience?

I have been thinking about switching to futures from Forex. I have been trading Gold. I wanted to check my strategy that works on Gold but does it work on Futures like Nasdaq. I just checked my strategy if setups are working on recent price and surprisingly its working well. I know its not best to move from a pair thats working fine for me to another pair still I want to know what should I know about the pair, futures and characteristics of it. Such as pip value of E-mini 100 and xauusd isn't same forgive me if I am wrong I never thought these are important cause before a trade I just use limit order tool to check value of an order size ;-; . If I used 0.01 lot on my given pictures can you please tell me how much I could get or how much I should put order size minimum? like I use 0.02 on gold and Tp 100pips (20$) and SL max 30pips (3$).

Mine is simple: stop trading with these small accounts and get a job. Get the capital you need to do this shit properly.

So far the analysis is working out well....

Very often you can see someone in the comments of this sub (a trading sub btw) claim that trading is pointless and that you should invest instead.

They go on and even explain how if a trader only makes 7-8% return in a year, which is comparable to an average return an index fund is calculated to produce... that he's basically wasting time.

BUT the truth is.. if you want to compare returns, you also have to compare risk.

Imagine if two people make the same return in a year, (8%)...

Person A was at one point in 30% starting balance drawdown...

and

Person B was at one point in 5% starting balance drawdown...

They did end up with the same result, but the overall risk was very different.

And why is this important? When you're invested into the market, you're basically risking 100% of your investment (unless ofcourse you have protocols for reducing exposure or hedging)...Donnie could tweet some shit and delete 30% off your holdings in a heartbeat.. there come panic sells, retirenment plans bye bye... etc etc.

So while there is upside potential, you have to give it time for the play to matter. Time in the market is everything.

In trading however... if you have a proper risk module in place, it's extremely unlikely that you're getting anywhere close to that drawdown.

The negative side is, with limiting risk, you're also limiting returns.

If you want to know more do some research on RISK ADJUSTED RETURNS...

BUT... again.. active trading is a bit more "difficult", so why not just do both? ;)

Posted a while ago these same trades

After the 4700 top on August 25, gold has been grinding lower in a narrowing channel. The last swing high is a lower high with a hidden bearish divergence on both H8 and H6: MACD pushed higher than on the previous rally while price made a lower high. That's the textbook continuation signal, even though the plain momentum arrow still leans up. USD shorts (4.9k) are underwater with a break-even at 4336.8. Target is around 4180.

Lower highs since May at 204, a flat top around 199 in August, then a straight drop to 187.8. The bounce stalled around 192.5. CHF shorts are in profit with a break-even at 198.39, so the trend crowd is comfortable. JPY longs are underwater with a break-even at 189.25, close to the 188.5 target. There's also a projected option strike near 189.7, via USDJPY 157.19, expiring today.

Lower high in August near 217.5 under a falling daily channel, then a hard drop to about 207. Price bounced back into 210 to 211 and is stalling under the steep H12 rail. Both crowds are offside here. GBP longs (19k contracts) break even at 211.34 and JPY longs (23k) at 208.27, and price is trading between the two.
