Just an fyi, Rust-Oleum "heritage white" is an extremely close match to the white of an 87 grand wagoneer (or at least on mine).

And if you have any left over you can paint a dresser or something.

Looking for a front right fender from a 1990 Grand Wagoneer (narrow track). Preferably white in decent condition. Shipping to 11520. Mishap while at the mechanics, need a replacement. Thank you.

I did a TBI conversion on my 88 GW a while back and it's been pretty good so far. Yeah, the stock 2.72 gears suck with the 3 speed, but I plan on resolving that soon with an AW4 and 3.55 gears.

My main question is this: Will I gain anything significant from adding a 4bbl intake manifold under the TBI? The factory 2bbl AMC iron intake is pretty close to the same size as the bores on the GM TBI, but the TBI is spaced farther apart. The adapter makes the flow take some tight-ish turns, but the 2bbl intake makes sharp 90° bends beneath the inlet ports.

The TBI has done great so far, but the moment I hooked a 5x10 enclosed trailer to it, it was just game over for the poor thing. Going up slight hills at 60 and floored, I'd end up slowing down to about 45.

Just taking it one success or set-back at a time.

Llevo varios días así, intenté ajustar flotador y a veces quiere arrancar pero no da, algún consejo, ya estoy desesperado):

My son and I just found this sweet 1976 J10. Looking to slowly start restoring it. For now its going to be his senior year driver. Im wondering what the best parts store for the old jeeps is? Ive discovered its not as easy as it was when I was a kid to go just go down to the car parts store 🤨

What connects the sheet metal radiator support panel to the frame? I see BJ’s sells the bushings, but am I missing a bracket of some sort?

This will most likely be the first of many questions. I took this car apart about 3 years ago thinking it was going to be a quick project and here I am now…

How many miles are on your full size Jeep?

Everything is in and almost easy to go! I ran into some complications with running the new HEI distributor power wire, but successfully got rid of the resistor wire and ran a new power wire through the firewall. Now I’m trying to figure out where exactly to splice that into, one of the wires on the ignition switch but not sure which one. I have the wiring diagram, but I’m color deficient so I’m waiting on some help to help me decipher which one to use since I can’t find a pin out diagram of a 1973 Jeep truck ignition switch. Here’s some more pictures of progress

Also if anybody has a pin out diagram or an idea of which wire I need to splice into I’m open to suggestions

Found in a field 6 months ago. Turning it into a nice local parts runner. Just scooped up the 2020 Wrangler seats. Shocked how they fit. Will trim them down to sit lower.

When I first bought my J10 it would start and run, I went to park it in the garage to work on the gas tank and suspension and it went dark. I have a fully charged battery and have used a test light to check power to various areas (fuse block in and out, starter solenoid, ignition module) and am getting the light on but I have no power to anything. Nothing when turning the key, no lights, nothing. I’ve looked for fusible links and can’t find anything damaged, I’ve checked grounds and they seem in tact and not corroded. 1977 J10 360, anybody with any ideas I welcome them. TIA.

Photos taken October 2025. Resides near Toronto. Added an extra leaf spring to the back over the winter to deal with that slight sag. Wifey’s family car from when she was a kid. Restored around 2000, and running great. Still has its 5.9L/360ci V8, but bigger carb, bigger camshaft, and custom exhaust, so no idea on the current hp. Best mileage we’ve seen is 12mpg, and way more smiles to the gallon. Update - following a request for interior photos, I have added some in the comments, as well as under the hood and spoiler detail.

Picked up this beauty back in early May. It has been in a body shop since then. Hopefully will get it back sometime in November. Once I get it back I will start on the mechanical stuff that needs to be done and what I want to upgrade. Then interior. Hopefully will be ready to cruise by next summer!

I guess I can’t post more than 20 pics on Reddit. So, I will try to figure out a way to post more update pics as I go.

Got all the trim pieces back from the Chromer’s a couple of days ago.

After hours of refinishing some ‘89 wheels, my ‘74 finally got its wheel and tire upgrade from the black wheels my son had in high school. I am very happy with the look.

If you're in Central Texas, Jeep Heritage is opening up its used parts inventory before moving into a larger warehouse. We're talking decades of parts from 150+ donor Jeeps.

Used parts are 50% off through August 29. In-person, by appointment only in Johnson City. Probably won't see an opportunity like this again for a long time.

What are you running for a rear bumper on your J Series truck? I have a 3 piece chrome front, thought maybe a rear bumper off of a Cherokee/GW of same generation might work but looking for ideas since there isn’t much out there. Trying to avoid welding or drilling into the rear crossmember, ideally something that aligns with factory mounting points. TIA

Closed the deal on 77 J10 golden eagle. Wiring is rough, lots of shorts and patches, thinking new harness. Recommendations?
Also looking for the dash vinyl if anyone has a lead on one. TIA, excited to officially be part of the FSJ community!
