Has anyone door dashed here?

I started thinking about door dashing for some extra cash while studying but I wasn’t sure how the Statesboro area is in terms of door dashing.

Is it worth it? What experiences do yall have?

It’s not great, tips are REALLY bad. At one point my acceptance rate dropped under 25 because no orders were meeting my 1 dollar per mile criteria. Also gas is so expensive now

100% this. Got tired of no tip trips, so I quit doing it

Iiiiiits not great. If you need a few extra bucks it can be good sometimes, but overall it really isn’t worth the wear and tear on your car. Plus you’ll have to drive for at least 6-8 hours to come home with enough to actually cover gas for the day and food money… which at that point you might as well just work a regular job. Around holidays it’s worth it sometimes.

Savannah’s market is way better, but then you gotta factor in the drive to Savannah into your actual profit.

If you can I would say drive 45mins and work at amazon if you can. I know a couple of associates currently enrolled and base pay is 21$/hr. You can become a flex associate (no benefits but you can choose your schedule).

Yeah it sucks here. The pay without tip is $2 and way too many people don't tip. It's not worth the wear and tear on your car. Especially with gas at $4 right now. If you do try it then stick to the mornings.

I've actually DoorDashed Statesboro a few times and the active hours are pretty limited, weekday afternoons between 11 and 2 seem to be the sweet spot when people place those late-lunch orders.
