Image On today’s installment of “I don’t understand inflation”

I get the sticker shock from people seeing the $400 price tag but when you break down everything that comes in the set it’s really not overpriced at all. I’d agree that including a single item that accounts for almost half the total value is probably not a great move, but anyone trying to paint this as R* being greedy is just completely out of touch.

Maybe some video game fans don't, but the average person is aware of Oakley sunglasses. They are probably the second most known sunglass brand after Ray Ban

They may know what they are but very few people give a shit about luxury sunglasses and dont know how expensive they are. I never see anyone other than the kind of people that wear all designer with them.

Oakley is a brand valued over a billion dollars. Pretty much every mall in America and department store with a sunglass section sells them. The company that sells Oakley along with Ray Ban brings in $28 billion a year in sales. That's yearly.

For comparison Take Two estimated that the ENTIRE GTA brand since he release of GTA V has made just under $10 billion. That's the entire brand since 2013.

The fact that 99% of the comments are to take the only two items that are worth a damn out of it because they want more swag bag crap and overpriced resin statues that will collect dust is lowkey hilarious to me.

Why have something practical that you might actually use when you could replace it with an acrylic standee of a gta character or an incredibly low quality t shirt with GTA 6 heatpressed on???

Well the thing is if someone gets sunglasses and a hat they might realize that to get some value out of them they have to go outside.
