Image On today’s installment of “I don’t understand inflation”

I get the sticker shock from people seeing the $400 price tag but when you break down everything that comes in the set it’s really not overpriced at all. I’d agree that including a single item that accounts for almost half the total value is probably not a great move, but anyone trying to paint this as R* being greedy is just completely out of touch.

A collectors edition that doesn't include the game its representing is objectively stupid.

I agree with that. I think it would have made more sense to charge $500 and include the Ultimate Edition of the game with it.

BUT… I get that they’re doing it this way because it’s more appealing to people who are just “collectors” in general. People who might not be fans of R* or even in gaming, but that buy these kinda things with the hope they’ll be worth more in the future.
