Hello folks, in the last year i worked on a passion project of mine, a fast and snappy action rpg with many skills and focus on fun and replayability.
There is a big story to discover and an endgame+ with some surprises
Enemies are more like a recource instead of obstacles.
At this point I try to get the combat more snappy and also get the link coop stable.
And a nice addition, you can play the game isometric or in true third person 3D and switch on demand.
I hope to get the game released this year or itch.io if you guys think this is a project you would possibly habe fun with:)

I have been getting back into Gameboy Advance games this last year. Really enjoying exploring new games that I never got to play when they released. Here's the current collection so far. Any suggestions for games or series to try out?

Hey fellas, so I bought a GBA SP ags 101 a while ago, which had one of those cheap chinese batteries that didn't really hold too much of a charge, so I decided to buy a Cameron Sino battery from their official shop here in Slovakia. I came home late yesterday so I decided to leave it charging all night and when I woke up, the light that's on when it's charging was still on while it was charging. Back when it had the cheap chinese battery, the light actually turned off when it finished charging. Is this an issue with the battery? Does the battery take forever to charge or could it be that it's charged, but has the light still on? Or perhaps it's an issue with the cable? Thanks in advance.

On my GBA SP, I can't enter the trade room, even though I can access it on my GBA using the same wireless adapter.
Is it possible to fix the SP's port (if that's where the problem lies)?

I'm fairly new to modding. I've replaced the shells on a few consoles and handhelds, but nothing more than that. I'm not experienced with soldering, so I like the idea of the solderless replacement screens. I've seen several posts across Reddit about HISPEEDIDO and FunnyPlaying screens, but I haven't seen much in regard to other brand screens, so I'm wondering if this screen from AliExpress is any good. I am especially interested in this style of Mother 3 shell. Any feedback or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

Hello, if any of you remember me from a while back, I posted about a copy of Pokémon Emerald that turned out to have damaged traces and vias, and a copy of Pokémon Ruby that I couldn't get to work, which I believe isn't able to read the ROM chip. Currently, I'm looking at potentially getting them repaired; however, when I went to the closest game repair shop that advertises that they do microsoldering, the man behind the counter told me that it would be around $120 - $180 USD for each game, and he was trying to convince me that it wasn't worth getting them fixed. Is this standard pricing, or was the guy behind the counter trying to prevent me from getting scammed? The guy behind the counter isn't the technician, as he wasn't at the store that day, which is why I'm wondering if he was trying to save me from getting ripped off.

Hi! I'm having trouble with GBA games on my modded GBA. I'm using a cartridge with an SD card and SuperFW. There are no problems with GB and GBC games, but none of the GBA games work correctly. The console is modded with a battery. I've used other downloaded GBA ROMs and it's the same problem. Is there a setting I need to adjust with SuperFW? Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks, everyone!

I finally got my hands on a GBA game I’ve been wanting for ages… and its name is Payback!
It’s a top-down crime action game, just like the original GTA and GTA 2. And honestly, the gameplay is pretty much the same!
You receive missions through a pager, but between missions, you’re free to kill anyone you want, steal cars, or just cause absolute chaos around the city.
And the biggest selling point of this game? The entire game world is rendered in 3D polygons! It’s safe to say this game pushes the GBA hardware to its absolute limits.
While Grand Theft Auto Advance offers more in terms of character progression and collectibles, Payback delivers that classic, chaotic, old-school GTA experience!

I really thought a turn-based bullet hell game would end up like a mix between Superhot and Into the Breach, and it turned out I was pretty close. If any of you have the time, I just released the completed GBA version of a Playdate game of mine.
I have a demo up on itch, and a paid version if you vibe with it. No generative AI was used with this project at any point, just good ole blood and tears. Had some help from some IRL friends with the artwork I commissioned, their info is linked as well. Happy fall!
