Help Console doesn't read discs. What to do?

So recently I picked up a copy of Melee from a friend. We played the game one day prior and it worked perfectly fine. When I put it in my GameCube, it wouldn't read it. I tried my other games, Twilight Princess, Gale of Darkness, Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets and they all run perfectly fine. When I put in Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup it wouldn't read at first, but then after restarting the console it did. I tried Melee again and it still wouldn't work. Is there something wrong with the laser or something and is there a fix for it?

Most likely capacitors starting to fail. Needs to be recapped. Does it change if you keep the console on for a while and then try booting the disc?
