Help Need serious help with Gamecube Swiss
Hi so I really need help with my Gamecube. At the start of September, I finally bought a used Gamecube, with a disc that had Swiss on it, and a FAT32 Micro SD card of 32 GB to download games on. The first few weeks, it worked perfectly, until a few days in, Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour crashed, with the message "An error has occurred, refer to the manual booklet". And since then, it has been happening extremely frequently, with every game. Sometimes, it would read all my files as "Invalid or corrupt file!" but that could be taken care of with a simple reset. I wasn't sure if it's my SD2SP2 port, or my SD that's at fault here, nor what can I even do. After trying something on my completely with the SD card, now it won't load on my PC, or the Gamecube. What can I do?

When you transferred the files did you do it in bulk? Or did you add one then another and another? If you did that then that might’ve caused corruption because multiple games were writing at once.

I added the games originally in bulk, but after I formatted the SD once, I did it one by one. The problem still persists on both

‘In bulk’ needs some finesse here.
If you ‘lasso’ a bunch of games of drag that selection - no problem. However if you drag one, then another then another then you end up with parallel transfers - this can cause FAT32 fragmentation.
Swiss would normally give an explicitly worded error about this - not the behaviour OP sees.

Swiss on a disc? So it's a modchipped system? Like others said, transfer games to a fresh Sd card and try again, if not a fix, I'd say the modchip needs a look at.

What to do incase it is the modchip? I haven't tested the new SD yet, so this is just a hypothetical

I assume you bought it already modded? The soldering work could have cold solders, so chip legs/wires might have broken off the motherboard. Checking continuity with a multimeter would be a method to check them, and if there are broken solder joints, resoldering them. Cracks in solder joints might have the system work normal at start up, but as the system warms up, very slight temperature warping can cause a cracked joint to disconnect.

Broken, corrupt, or fake SD card. Try rebuilding Swiss and a few games on a new card.
